Q: how is camera feed into lines? manual or a motor?

The model I have is manual. The fiber optic cable is small diameter but very rigid. I was able to push it 130’ up stream in a 6” pipe. The stand off rollers allow it to easily be pushed threw pipes and keeps the head of the camera out of the waste so lens stays clean.

Q: Is this drain camera waterproof?

The camera head and cable is waterproof. The waterproof level is IP68. It is a professional pipeline video inspection system.

Q: How do you determine depth?

This model does not let you know the depth, just where it is.

Q: Is the camera orientation fixed or does it swivel to keep the image up write and not upside down or sideways?

We just purchased. Camera is pretty good clarity for the money but seems to be fixed, not happy with locator. It works but nothing like a Rigid with omnidirection. Difficult to use locator in busy areas, in a big field probably pretty good. I'm guessing all of these in this price range work this way. I had hoped for a better locator. Would be nice if you could swivel camera or if its orientation was always up based on gravity so you could tell what is the top and bottom of pipe. Help with determining if pipe collapsed or just filled with sediment.
