Excellent 4K Dash Cam with Front and Rear Coverage
The IIWEY D2 Pro is an impressive dash cam that delivers crisp 4K video at the front and full HD at the rear, giving excellent coverage for everyday driving. It comes packed with useful features like GPS speed tracking, 5 GHz WiFi for fast video transfer, voice control, and a clear 3.39” display for easy playback. Setup is straightforward, and the included SD card gets you recording right away. While the rear camera is not 4K and the unit is a bit bulky, it still provides reliable footage day and night. The parking-monitor feature is handy if hardwired, and overall it strikes a great balance between price, features, and video quality. Perfect for anyone looking for a dependable dash cam for peace of mind on the road.

Great Dashcam and Excellent Service
I installed and hardwired this dashcam into my Audi Q5 without any issues. The setup was straightforward, and the performance so far has been impressive. One of the standout features for me is the excellent video quality, especially at night. I've tried other dashcams before, and like most models, they tend to become grainy and almost useless at night. This is true for all brands I've used so far, including more expensive ones. However, the IIWEY D2 Pro consistently performs well, with minimal glare and clear footage even in low-light conditions. The rear camera also performs better than others I’ve tested, with no significant degradation in image quality when it gets dark, which is often a problem with other dashcams. I was particularly impressed with how little glare the front 4K camera captures—something that even high-end models struggle with. It really stands out compared to others that often distort or blur in bright light. Overall, based on my initial use, I’m impressed with the performance and quality of the IIWEY D2 Pro. It seems to offer excellent value for money, especially considering how well it handles both day and night conditions. I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs in the long term. Highly recommended so far! Many thanks!

Great product but with flaws
This is a complete package with cam, power, rear plug in cam and WiFi link. The camera system works fine out the box and the mounting solutions are first rate. Setup is easy and the power cable is approx 4m long so installation is a breeze too. The link with iPhone using built in WiFi is ‘ok’ once established but unlike the description I am unable to bring up the map display on my iPhone 14 when connected. It’s just a compressed and jumpy repeat of the dash cam screen with the option to start/stop recording, take photo, and review files. Without the mapping and gps info the companion app is a bit useless and certainly doesnt currently offer the functionality that it suggests it does. It’s a software thing that may get updated in time, I hope. GPS acquisition is also very slow. I have travelled 20 miles before it’s worked out where I am. That isn’t ideal when relying on the data. Concluding. A good dashcam with plug in rear cam. That alone is 5 star, but no different to most dash cams. The features that should justify the higher price fall short of expectations.

Great Quality Product at Affordable Price
Super High Quality Video from IIWEY D2 Pro Dash Cam Great camera & good price, with super crisp & clear imaging on both front and rear in daylight (see below) Easy to read number plate details but unable to show on video sample due to Amazon rules. It is very fast to pick up on satellite positioning, giving quick data on both position & speed Both cameras are very compact so can easily be positioned without interference of mirror or sun visor Impressed with the quality of camera, cables etc plus the addition of spare mounting pad & accessories The night time quality on the front camera is superb by comparison to others I have used, the rear, (as expected) not so good, but mainly due to the lack of light….We live in a very rural area so street lighting is sporadic, so probably much better in a well-lit town or city Overall, really impressed & would recommend this quality dash cam over some of the more expensive brands!

It’s okay for a dash cam, does the job but not perfect
Have used this product for a few months now and have noticed that when I turn the car on the camera turns on but the screen is grey so I have to turn it off and on again. This happens 30% of the time I turn my car on however it’s a little inconvenient that the camera does this . Another thing to point out is that at night, lights can be over exposed which then doesn’t let you see the car in front properly incase you need evidence of an accident, I had a look at the users manual to see if there’s a setting to just lower the exposure but wasn’t able to find it. The camera itself is a good size and there was plenty of wiring but then again I do have a small hatchback so I would make sure that the length of the wires are long enough if you have a larger vehicle. The camera does make a little chime when it turns on and off and at first it was a little annoying but after a while you forget it happens. The picture quality is good in the daytime with good coverage of the road and the rear view camera does help if you’re reversing. It’s a good camera for its price however I would pay more for a better camera that would work 100% of the time it’s switched on

Highly Recommended. Works as expected. But...
The manual is rubbish. Thats the only downfall of this dash cam. The good thing is that the kit is that easy to put together and use, you wont need the manual. I got this bundled with a 128gb Samsung Micro SD and the front and rear cameras. I placed the front and rear cams in position and then ran the cables. To make a neat job of it, you may come across a crevice or a compartment to hold any slack cable and then tuck the rest of the cabling behind the weatherproof seals etc. Once the cables were installed and everything was connected, i quickly tested the two cams to make sure all was working fine, and could see the image on the small screen on the rear of the front cam. Now I was happy all was working fine, I disconnected the front cam and ran through the settings for time and date and quality prefernce of the video for cam etc. The Android app is called KaKa, whilst it isnt great and has a poor GUI, it does the job. Activate the wifi AP mode by stopping any recording and clicking the wifi symbol, then follow the on screen instructions for the password. The quality of both camera's is very very good. Easily pick out reg plates and even finer details. Both camera's have a very wide viewing angle allowing to see a good range. The internal mic is also of decent quality to record the audio from within the car. So far, im very happy that I have pretty much all angles covered at all times of driving my car and know ill be able to use any footage as reliable evidence should I need it for insurance purposes. Well worth the purchase and the price.

£31 seems like a good deal? nope
I have owned this dash cam since 2021, so i'll give you a run down of what you can expect. First day you'll notice how bad it wobbles and shakes when going over bumps because the bracket is made of cheap plastic so what i did was superglue it together now its solid. After a month you'll notice how the quality especially on the rear camera has degraded, after 2 years the quality on the back camera is completely useless and you couldn't make out anything let alone a reg. After a year you'll start noticing the camera turns itself off randomly this is due to heating issues and the components being terrible, first you'll notice the dash cam turning it off in a obvious way but after a while it will power on normally and randomly turn off with no noise or anything. After 3 years you're left with files on a memory card that can't even be opened as they corrupt non stop especially if the dash cam is left running for long periods of time it simply has a meltdown, quality has gone from 1080p to 240p on the rear and the front is still okayish maybe 720p but when i get a new car im buying a new dash cam, so yes this is cheap and you can get your money out of it for 3 years if your lucky but if you want quality footage then sadly this goes away after 6 months and its use as a dash cam becomes pointless as most clips you want to view become corrupted. I would do yourselves a favour and skip this camera, yes its cheap but from the start the quality is bad and it only gets worse with time, camera has 0 heat protection so in the sun it will just turn off but it will start doing this anyway after a while, recordings will corrupt i have had times where the entire SD card has only had 1 playable file and its not the SD card as i have tried changing this twice, whole point in a dash cam is that you have footage of a crash or hit and run etc but when a dash cam chooses when it wants to record it no longer becomes useful, just avoid products like this from China that claim HD and all the rest of it because it just isn't, product is cheap for a reason and is made terribily and its not designed to last long.
