Great glazing knife
Putty knife works great and comfortable in the hand. Nice stiff blade. If you glaze for a living, it's nice to have a variety of putty knives. Some wide, some narrow, some straight, some bent.

Best glazing tool ever!
If your work entails replacing broken glass panes, or if you are a stained glass professional, there is no better, or easier to use glazing knife than this. The width is perfect for most applications, and the putty goes in the groove with amazing speed and accuracy. It cost a lot more than the run of the mill hardware store item, but I found it saves me so much time that it's worth having. Great for the average home owner as well, to add to their tool collection for possible future use.

Does what it's supposed to do
Our house has its original windows from 1906, and they're in ok shape. Most have cracked glass panes, needing the glass replaced and about a zillion layers of cracked and peeling paint removed.I spent some time learning how to restore old windows over the summer, and did the first sash this fall before it got too cold to have a window out. This tool was very helpful when it came time to putty after installing the new glass and points. The angle made it much easier to set the correct angle on the putty, so it will properly shed water, and it didn't hit and dislodge the points as much as a regular putty knife.I don't have photos of using the tool, but the one I've attached is during the cleanup after puttying the window with this tool. It's not perfect, but it came out pretty darned well for my first window! It's a great improvement over the initial attempt with the regular putty knife.
