Nothing to dislike just plain good

I got bad advice from some of the other buyers who obviously have never eaten real dried mango. This full of sugar and obvious food colorings. I sort of wasted over twenty dollars on something that is not my idea of dried mango. It's really mango flavored candy as far as I'm concerned and not edible as is. If I soak it for about 15 minutes in cool water much of the sugar and food coloring comes off and it's sort of edible. that's why I'm giving it a reluctant 3 stars. If you want real dried mango fruit though look elsewhere.

Like the price. Flavor is mediocre. Added food coloring may displease some. Great treat for kids, they will love it. Adults may be less enthusiastic

I'd say these are closer to candied mango slices versus dried mango. The pieces are incredibly sweet. It's a nice flavor, so I'll eat them. But it's nothing close to what I was hoping for. I won't buy them again.

So, I tried one piece. ONE! I tried to return the product, but it's not eligible for return! Okay, I understand that it is a food item so if I had wanted to return a sandwich with a bite out of it, it would be pretty crass of me. It still stings my soul a bit because I am CERTAINLY not going to finish 5 pounds of this stuff.These aren't dried mango slices. These are actually closer to candied mango slices. I was looking for an alternative to these dried mango slices from Costco. Those are about 18 bucks a bag for (if I recall correctly) 1.5 pounds. So when I saw this for 21, I thought, score!Now, I could have lived with the situation if these tasted any good. But there is this almost "gingery" aftertaste that just kills it for me. Never, EVER buying again.
