Good book for overview of traditional contractor's QS role .It highlights some key points to which a contractor's QS may encounter; however , the reader needs to be mindful of revisions to jct and newer NEC contracts clauses, but in principle the same rules apply if there is a change notify and keep good records .

This book is essential reading for anybody studying their QS degree who is working or planning to work for a Main Contractor. It explains with some clarity the typical duties of a Contractor's Quantity Surveyor including subcontractor procurement, valuations, and cost reporting, and provides helpful examples throughout.

Brought this for my daughter who is in the business she said it was ok
