Ian (Farraday Country Book 9)

Oh my, what a heart-warming story!
I absolutely loved this book! But who wouldn't? I have followed this series from the beginning and still can't get enough. These characters seem so real to me; each and every one of them from the women who are called just the Sisters, to Aunt Elaine and her crazy poker playing friends, the crazy old men who drive everyone crazy with their outrageous antics. And of course we can't forget about, Sean, who is not only the patriarch of the family, but also the heart and soul of every story. I especially enjoyed everyone's journey into the HEA's so far and can't wait to see who brings Jaime to his knees in the next book And what would the stories be without the help of our mysterious match-making pooches, to help all of these love birds along? And by throwing in a little mystery and intrigue into the mix--- like Ms. Keniston always does--- you have the perfect blend of what makes a great book, become a really fantastic one!I loved Kelly and Ian's story so much. This story made me laugh so hard at times, but there were a few times it brought me to tears, too. I have to say; I never expected the suspense part of this story to unfold the way it did. Took me totally by surprise with that one, for sure. Kelly never had an easy life, but she never whined about things she really couldn't control, either. I'm just so glad that Ian was man enough to see Kelly for the beautiful person she was, both inside and out. And hey....Ian wasn't so bad himself, either. ;) IMO- They were perfect together.I'm not gonna lie; when this series is over, I'm gonna bawl my eyes out!!! Guess I'll just have to start the whole series over again, and again to get my fix, right?

I hope this series goes on forever!
Those matchmaking dogs are at it again! The Faraday cousins are as great as the Tucker Bluff family! I am so glad that Chis Keniston continued the series with Hannah and now Ian and I look forward to Jamison's story. I have been waiting for Kelly's turn to find someone special and I hoped it would be a Faraday. Texas Ranger Ian Faraday is awesome!!! If you have ever read one of the books in the series, the rest are sure to be an auto-buy but for any new readers, you can feel pretty comfortable starting that this point. While the earlier couples are identified, not too much of their story is revealed. This tale probably has more humor than the others because her grandfather and great uncle are quite mischievous; there is a feeling that their poor choices come from age related issues but boredom is possible culprit so the concern is not a big downer although it is recognized as a part of life that has to be addressed. The way Ian works with their issues makes him a hero because he isn't just doing it for Kelly, it is representative of who he is.I received an ARC of Ian from the author, a thrill for me even though I had already ordered it because I absolutely adore this series. This is one of those books that I have to shout about to friends and fellow readers because I love it SO much.

great book
Ian: Farraday Country Book 9 is by Chris Keniston. It is a wonderful book but it makes me think about the author and how great her writing was. Do the townspeople really believe a shaggy dog portends marriage for one of the Farradays?Kelly Ann Morgan was heading home from the Farraday wedding. Her feet hurt from the 5-inch heels she wore and she wanted only to get home and veg out. Instead, she finds herself stopping before the blue lights and thinking of getting home. However, she knew her Dad could be in careful too. The only one she could think of to call was DJ so she did. Instead of DJ answering his phone, Ian did and he came with DJ and others to get her out jail. Now, he could keep an eye on her.Would the two of them find each other as their very own love? Check out the book and see what happens.

Family, loyalty, love, comittment, perseverance, strength and honor! Got it all!
I started with the first 3 book series, was not disappointed. So nice to read stories with such family values that are rare! Easy reads too just finished up with Ian and on to the next. Love having the family charters intertwine in each story. But you don’t hear from Graces’ fiancé. Still it is Good work. I am new to this author but so worth checking out her other stuff after reading this series. Keep writing your awesome 😎

Another great book
Faraday country is a place that I would love to visit. Playing cards with the Ladies and watching this amazing family grow would be interesting to say the least. Ian had some twists I didn’t expect, I think Chris Keniston s getting better with each new book. Happy reading!

Such a fun read.
I have loved the whole Farrady series. Who wouldn't love stories that all contain a mysterious dog appearing and old grandpas who steal cows so they can't be eaten. Add in a lawman saving a young woman from jail time and you have a Farrady type of story. This time it's Ian and Kelly who end up with a stray puppy and Kelly's two oldster relatives hiding cows out in the garage. Another can't put it down book by Chris Keniston. I'd recommend the whole series.

Funny
Loved this book - the funny parts definitely but it also addressed how we perceive ourselves and how listening to others negative words is really a form of bullying. Also glad it touched on topics of older family members having to come live with you when they can’t be trusted to keep themselves safe. Great job Chris Keniston- again!

Love this series!
I always love the characters in this series. However, gave it 4 out of five because I agree with another reviewer that Kelly and Ian could have been developed a little more. Chris Keniston has become one of my favorite authors!

In the eye of the beholder beauty is seen
On to the cousins now and the closeness of this family is just lovely. Its like weaving a rich tapestry through the community, one we would all wish to belong to. As a Texas Ranger Ian has to be objective but Adam's receptionist and his sister's friend make him lose it Big Time. What I like about these stories is that although the main focus is the growing attraction of the young couple there are smaller side stories going on that intrigue and delight. Kelly's crazy old grandpa and his buddy Ralph are a hoot and made me want to run up and hug them like crazy they made me laugh so much. Kelly like me has a fuller figure and due to a previous unappreciative boyfriend struggles to embrace the fact one of the Farraday hunks would look at her twice. Thankfully Ian loves more than just her curves he sees her and the wonderful woman she is. Wonderful entertainment which I could not put down and then I just wanted more. five stars again

This is the 9th book in this series and as enjoyable as all the rest. It has a great storyline and had me laughing out loud at the antics that went on with the older generation in this. Was great to hear that the dogs were up to match making again.Only stopped because i had to sleep otherwise i could have read this in one sitting.I would recommend this book, and the series, to all. They have all you need. Thanks for another great one Chris Keniston.

After reading the first book I purchased the other 13 in the series
I read the first book as a free kindle download and was hooked! The stories are gentle love stories with a bit of intrigue in each one. There is no sex involved as in so many 'romances', just good manners and values. I highly recommend the series.
