I live in the deep South with high heat and humidity. For my long motorcycle trips I wanted a comfortable breathable long sleeve shirt that was highly visible. The long sleeves protect against sunlight yet with the fabric design still allow plenty of airflow to control overheating. In particular, I needed a moisture-wicking fabric to keep me cooled and comfortable. This shirt does a good job in keeping me dry whereas cotton shirts become clammy and retain heat to the point of being extremely uncomfortable. In contrast this shirt is both protective and cooling. It is so very lightweight and rolls up into a small cylinder for easy packing during my travels. Properly rolled up no wrinkles appear. While on the road it is very easy to wash in a hotel sink or creek and dries out very quickly making this wonderfully utilitarian.Though I bought this expressly for hot weather, it also makes a very good inner layer for cold weather, much for the same reason: It wicks moisture away.I love the bright yellow color for riding on my motorcycle as this keeps me very visible to drivers around me.My only caveat is the size runs ever so slightly small. I normally wear XXL which is what I ordered, but this fits snug. Most of my other XXL shirts are looser whereas this clings snug to my body. With wear throughout a longer day it does loosen slightly, but it is more of an athletic fit. Now for value this really cannot be beat. Other name brand shirts that are comparable cost at least 100%-200% more than this very economically priced shirt. As a result I've purchased several more.

Like the fit but the fabric is a little thicker than expected. Moisture wicking is great but in 100 degree Louisiana weather.... whew, just a little to thick for my personal taste.
