These are very basic serving tongs, suitable for appetizers or small items. They are larger than sugar tongs, but much smaller than buffet tongs. The metal is not shiny, but it is not thin or flimsy either. I found them flexible enough to easily handle (I have a pretty sugar tong that is very stiff and unpleasant, so this matters). Haven't run them through the dishwasher yet, but they look like the type of material that can handle it. They store in a very small space, so that's a plus for me. These are suitable for serving appetizers, small sandwiches, or pinching your brother under the table.

I was looking for some smaller prongs for dinner parties and came across these little gems. They are the perfect size, strong, and flat on the ends so they pick up more! I would recommend these prongs if you're looking for something smaller and fancy looking! Thanks!

These tongs are perfect for serving small items like appetizers. But a great alternate use is for pulling stickers off socks and shoe laces after a day in the country. No more sore fingers from pulling stickers. They are just the right size to work with and grab stickers easily. Because they come in a multi-pack, my husband and I keep a pair in our cars just for this purpose.

These replaced a couple of small tongs that didn't make it home from a potluck. They are quite a bit smaller than the old ones, but they were OK on a fruit tray. They are very sturdy although utilitarian locking and not at all decorative. I wish I could find these tongs in a slightly larger size.

My grandkids like tea with sugar, and since cubes make it easier to control quantity, tongs are a must. These are the perfect size for the cubes and the arms have just the right amount of tension. The kids were happy to use them because the previous ones were too small and too stiff.

Not worth ordering

These little tongs are wonderful for serving small pieces of food. I use them on a relish tray for olives, peppers, shredded cheese and chopped vegetables. They are sturdy and made well. I put them in my dishwasher for easy cleaning.
