Pure Classic C-D6 Music System (CD Player, DAB+/FM, Bluetooth, AUX, USB, Alarm Sleep Timer) Cotton White/Oak

I don't usually write reviews, but after receiving my Pure Classic C-D6 radio I was surprised at how good it was. The Pure Classic C-D6 was abit bigger than I thought, it is fairly deep at 28cm. This being said the build quality of the cabinet is solid. The volume and Selector dials are plastic but are perfectly acceptable. CD tray is abit flimsy but adequate. At £180 you can't complain. DAB Radio... (This is where it shines) DAB radio station were very easy to scan/tune and preset. You get 30 presets which is plenty. It managed to pick up over 120 DAB stations. I was very impressed and happy with this due to some reviews saying they had issues picking up stations. The stations are crystal clear. I was up and running with presets installed within 10 minutes. Sound... The sound quality is more than sufficient and has plenty of power at 30 watts if you wanted to play louder. It also has 3 eq settings, but I didn't notice any sound difference between them. Overall all this is a great system if you want to listen to DAB radio, play cds or Bluetooth music. It also has an aux in! For the price I don't think you could find better. Edit: Update... I have now had this stereo for a month now and it's been working fine but the usb-A socket doesn't recognise my mp3 player. That's not a big issue as the stereo has an 3.5mm aux in input, so I can use that. Also the dab+ radio has been working flawlessly. I would highly recommend this product!

Good quality. Looks lovely. Easy to use and set up. Good clarity of sound, very functional.

Great unit, good sound and build quality. There are some down sides... there is no headphone out so you cannot link it to external speakers. Also there is no simple alarm on/off - so you have to go into a menu. The other con is that the display does not turn off when on standby... that means if you have it in your bedroom at night it will still be illuminated... bit anoying.

It is lovely so easy to put together and a lovely sound. Worth paying a bit more .

Good sound quality for a music system, good reception on both DAB+ and FM, (dependant on location), stable bluetooth connection, decent CD player and easy to navigate. OK, the sound from it is no match for my separates Hi Fi system, but at a fraction of the price I wouldn't expect it to be. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

Easy to set up, it has a really good sound, it looks great too, very retro, and I can play my cd’s again, perfect for my needs.

This system was bought to replace an old Panasonic system in my home office. I have already used two smaller Pure radios previously and been impressed with them. This system is certainly built to the same high quality standard, and I agree with other reviewers comments regarding the quality of sound etc. That said, I was very surprised that it came with only a telescopic fixed radio aerial! DAB/DAB+ reception is very poor round here and there is no provision for connection to an outside aerial. As a result I can only receive three stations properly and these too regularly suffer from "gargling" and drop-out. I really would expect a unit of this quality to have provision to connect an external aerial. There is also no headphone socket, so unless you use Bluetooth phones (and there is nothing in the manual about this) then you're out of luck. Everything else about this unit is fine and sound quality (from other that DAB radio) is certainly up to Pure standard. But these, in my opinion, glaring omissions by Pure cause me to rate the product with 3 stars rather than 5. Disappointing penny pinching Pure!

The cd player made our Christmas. We had cd player, playing over most of Christmas. Excellent sound, easy to use. Will be listening to the music of our choice. What a pleasure for a change. Highly recommended.

Belle qualité extérieure, le son est excellent, les réglages via l'appareil ou avec la télécommande sont faciles. Bonne réception de la radio numérique ; un peu moins pour la FM. Fonction cd ok

Suprisingly pleasant sound, nice and easy user experience. Good build quality. Considerations: Limited EQ options, no ability to store specific FM channels (works amazing on DAB+).
