This isn't a product review as such but just to highlight a frankly ridiculous and amateurish approach to having a problem with this item.I bought these lights via a "fulfilled by Amazon " order through a third party seller. One of the lights arrived damaged and so I contacted amazon to advise what to do. Well, the ONLY option it seems is to return ALL 6 lights, going through the whole rigmarole of the returns process, get a refund and reorder the item! That is amazon policy for issues like this with third party sellers with "fulfilled by Amazon" orders.Obviously, I was not prepared to do that, given the hassle involved (lack of printer, etc) the fact that it was essentially worth £4.50 and the fact that the same thing could happen again when they got resent. And then what? Do the same again?! No thanks. So its cost me full price for five lights only. You'd have thought there would be a more sensible way of sorting this issue out but alas no.It's worth bearing this in mind if you're going to consider buying these lights. My advice would be to buy them somewhere else from a vendor that has a sensible and proportionate return policy as the items are fragile and susceptible to breaking.Edit: A quick word on the lights themselvees. They look nice, they're pretty heavy, the colours are nice and soft. One thing to note is (maybe this is obvious to everyone else) that to get them to work in the first place, you need to pull the metal shaft down and remove the plastic part that prevents the battery powering. Also, I've heard people say that you can set them to just be white or off as well as the colour changing, but it's not clear how this is done. In fact, I can't see any way to do that.Just to add another edit a while after: these stopped working very quickly. Definitely not worth the hassle.

They are of the poorest quality, they won’t work for long, they were purchased Feb 2022 failed come June. I have purchased new rechargeable batteries but 3 gone 3 to go. I wish I had read the reviews 🙄

Opened box to find one broken glass surround, and two with broken stems of the other three only one work's, shame really because the one that works is really nice, steer clear of these because of poor manufacturer........ Update I took the two intact lights apart removing solar panel and bulb circuit board ( very easy only 4 screws ). Then removed battery to find a plastic tab at the base I took it out put the lamp together again and they work fine very nice in fact. These tabs are common on most products that include fitted battery's. But with these lamps you have to take the thing apart to access the tab. Assembly mistake it seems, updated from one star to 3 stars, as they are nice when working properly.

I’ve bought these lights individually from Asda before and those are definitely much better than these. These are quite dim even after being in the bright sun all day. They don’t even light up the small plants in the flower bed, let alone be bright enough to light up the area surrounding it.These are disappointing for the £25 I paid - I’ll be ditching these and going to Asda ASAP to stock up on theirs!!

Not impressed with these garden lights, The Amazon Packaging was as usual excellent however the packaging on the lights themselves was scuffed. On opening one of the stainless steel posts was missing and the globes themselves are poorly made with the seals between globe and base looking like the first time it rains they will fill with water.So how do they operate, actually when switched on they look good with a good light however...only 3 of the 6 seem to work !!I will give them a few more days just to check that it isn't lack of sun (although the last few days have been pretty sunny) and then if nothing changes will be contacting Amazon for a refund or replacementI will update if things change

I bought my first set of these just over a year ago and loved them, the lights are bright and robust (they have been hit several times by my Grandsons footballs) and they look a lot more expensive that they were, they even came on in the winter months for a couple of hours most days which really brighten up the dark winter evenings. Have just purchased another set, ordered them on Monday and they arrived on Wednesday and I live in the Isle of Man so that's really fast delivery, I assembled them which is very easy to do and put them in my garden at 5 o'clock yesterday and last night they lit up and are so bright and cheerful, the colours are lovely. I have had several sets of other type of garden lights, some quite a bit more expensive but none have even come close to these in quality. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these to anyone.

Very good value for the money priced them at my local garden center and they were £9.99 each I paid £22.50 at Amazon for 6 I would have given 4 star but when put out in the garden 2 were not working. I contacted Amazon who have contacted the supplier and im waiting for a replacements. They look realy nice. Would have liked them to swtch off after 6 hours but they stay on all night

These arrived with so much packaging that it took two of us to open. However that was a good thing as the glass ball could be easily broken otherwise. They are not as bright as I thought they would be but look good, although the batteries on two have gone already and that's only after 3 weeks, so keep plenty of batteries handy. A good buy for the money. Would recommend.
