It was challenging and for my grandson who is only just 4 and it had lots of opportunities to increase the challenges. The patterns were varied and enabled it to be graduated to meet the needs of a my four year old grandson. We were all impressed with its versatility. It was enjoyable for all.

This is a good brain wake up game for my daughter and I to play before starting her math. She'd play it for a lot longer if I'd let her, lol! Super easy to learn, but can be challenging to play. The quality of the wooden pieces is just okay - very lightweight wood and not meant to be a statement in craftmanship, but hey, it's a game, so it's fine.
