Doesn’t work for my 2002 Chevy Suburban. I still gave it 3 stars because I’m sure it works for other people. Only slightly disappointed. Update: Tried it on a newer vehicle and it still doesn't work. I guess it just doesn't like Chevy/GMC vehicles.

Sure other stuff is better out there. Snap on makes one like a laptop but let's face it if your a hobby guy working on your modern vehicle to atleast track down the issue this set up is worth it. The battery volt test is really neat. Also the fire and ignition testing ended up helping me diagnose my brother's 2002 2500 HD Chevy. Dropped a new motor in and after all the money spent on misfire it turns out the ECM was shot. Without this device I could've spent more then I bargened for. Good unit. Easy to use and fun to watch as someone else drives.

I am honestly not sure on this one. We plugged it into a Cadillac Escalade and things on the dash starting blinking including the braking system etc. The diagnostic tool we previously had didn’t do this, so we unplugged it and didn’t use it. Maybe a more instructive video showing what you see on the vehicle dash would be helpful. But the tool was easy to unpack, great case for it, and it was simple to plug in. We are not mechanics, just everyday folks. I more experienced auto person may not have been nervous.

Works well easy to use just plug it in under the dash & can be used while driving, txt is average on being able to read it. & price is great.
