Car Radio Stereo for Jeep Wrangler JK Compass Grand Cherokee Dodge Ram with CarPlay Android Auto

A very easy install in my 17 Wrangler JK. A great upgrade to my stock unit. Harness plugged right in with no splicing. All steering wheel controls work without any additional programing. The system sounds great without needing any amp or additional equipment. Android Auto connected the minute I connected my phone.I had one issue to change kmh to mph on main home screen. Contacted tech support and they were quick to resolved my problem with a video showing how to change setting. Very impressed!!!I highly recommend this if you are looking for a great upgrade that is reasonably priced

DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND ORDER A QUALITY DEPENDABLE RADIO FOR YOUR JK. GOT IT INSTALLED AND IT IS VERY USER UNFRIENDLY. LOOSES IT CONNECTION OFTEN . DOES NOT HAVE SOUND MOST OF THE TIME. THIS UNIT HAS WASTED SEVERAL HOURS OF MY TIME AND THE PURCHASE PRICE. LOOKS NICE INSTALLED BUT THAT IS AS FAR AS IT GOES. DOES NOT WORK!!!

At a fraction of the cost of the Stinger Heigh10 I was eyeing, this unit is great! Think of it more as a tablet that controls your stereo than a radio. Connections were simple, plug and play, even the steering wheel controls with no adjustment needed. Great value for the money and just the right size. So many settings and adjustment options that it’s unreal. Added a RedWolf backup camera and wired the included camera to the Aux Video In line for a forward facing obstacles on the trail and parking. OTA updates are simple as well.

The radio and Bluetooth music not the best, all else works fine.

The price is decent for this device, and it is easy to install except for the backup camera. The instruction has a lot of room to improve. The customer service did reply but not very helpful. I had to watch lots of YouTube videos to figure it out.

Truly a major upgrade to your Jeep JK. Sound is much better than stock. All features worked and new features discovered! Sound was muffled at first, but if you turn off surround and start with level settings on car settings then use the dsp equalizer in small increments…so much better! I had no problem getting ahold of customer service. Sue was amazing, even though i asked too many questions. I always received a helpfull response.

The installation was for the most part very easy. I did have to drill one of the location pin holes a little bigger. The plug and play was easy. The only issue which USB is for iPhone or Android they are not marked. I would strongly recommend getting an adapter for the antenna. Once I was able to get everything up and running I'll admitt I'm not over satisfied with the system. the biggest issue I'm having is the bluetooth connection it only connects 40% of the time. The maps does not have the dark setting. It's very blinding when your diving at night. I don't like the fact that the user can not set the main screen for ease of use. The factory speakers are not very compatible with this system. It sounds like you listening in a tunnel. The final issue is when I am able to finally get the system to bluetooth together, it doesn't matter if I'm listening to music or an audio book, the car system skips around. I don't have an issue like that with any other bluetooth accessories. When I'm using the hands free phone part everyone complains that it's hard to understand me. My voice is scratchy and distorted. I've been trying to work the kinks out of this system for almost 2 months now.

Edit from my original review.: this morning got in my jeep and it is completely dead. One month after purchasing it.I installed mine on an 2 door Jk. Overall for the price it’s a nice upgrade from the factory. Here are the pro’s and cons.Pro’s- Easy install- Looks good- Sound is good- Price- wireless CarPlay- camera support- can use the screen to watch YouTube etc if you have a hotspot.Cons- If you have polarized sunglasses you can barely see it. Hopefully I can find some film or something I can put over it to make it easier to view- even when turning the brightness all the way down it is VERY bright and distracting at night even when in dark mode with black background set on CarPlay. When you switch your lights on it does dim a little but not nearly enough.- on one of the home screens it shows speed but it is not close to accurate- CarPlay take a little while to start upIf any of the issues I am having are settings or if the manufacturer can suggest a way to get past the polarized sunglasses issue, I will happily change my rating.Knowing all the issues, I still think it’s worth buying.
