I really like the looks of this wide span Regalo walk through gate. We are in the process of redoing the man cave and needed gates to keep our dogs from the new furniture we are getting. The sections between the posts were odd measurements at 69 1/2" and most gates were not wide enough. These are adjustable and I wasn't sure how they would work, but I really like how they look with the gate set out a bit. These walk through gates are really sturdy. The gate is easy to open and use in these, much easier than my other two white Regalo gates that I have at the bottom of stairs and in the kitchen doorway. The installation was fairly easy my husband said and didn't take long. He just used his cordless drill to attach the gates to the posts. The tool to connect the sections was included. This is just what I needed to keep the dogs out of half of the mancave area. So I like the looks of these, I like that they are adjustable, I like the easy to use walk through gates, I like the easy assembly and the price was reasonable and the shipping was fast.

Great (permanent) addition to keep my toddler out of the dishwasher and from underfoot in the kitchen. Installation was mildly challenging due to opening size vs. gate size and design. Very sturdy. He shakes the heck out of it from either side and has even attempted to climb it, yet there has been no damage at all.

Bought this extra-long fence for the kitchen as the tradition ones did not fit. It looks very nice and not like an ordinary fence. I love that you are able to control how the fence forms as all you have to do is tighten it once it is in the shape of your choosing. It is very easy to open for adults however for my daughter she cannot figure out how to open the fence. Great bang for your buck.

I'm using this gate to cover a 72" opening into recreation room. I use this area to work on antique radios, which sometimes involves components that fall on the floor. My large young dog will eat just about anything! This gate works great to keep her from eating anything toxic in the room.Pros:Sturdy gate - Very strong once assembledEasy to operate - Simple bush-button slide mechanismLooks very nice - Fit and finish is niceEasy to install (watch the video) - It took me about 20 minutes to installCons:Written installation instructions are not very clear. ***12/30 UPDATE: my one year old brought me one of the bars. He literally got a bar out and BROUGHT IT TO ME. I’m fuming. ***This is one of my worst amazon purchases. I own 4 regalo baby gates, I think their products are the best, this is the exception.I purchased this gate for my large (73 inch) opening to my living room. First, the gate came packaged so tightly, it took three of us to straighten it out. We either broke a small piece off straightening it or it came that way but I figured it wouldn’t affect the functionality so we kept going.Second, the gate is designed to bend at the hinges to accommodate a less than 74 inch opening. This is a fantastic idea HOWEVER if you have a 74 inch opening there is no way to keep it straight!!! My one year old holds it and bangs it back and forth and my dry wall is literally crumbling from the pressure (see photos). You would think regalo could come with a clip or slide to hold it in place!?!Third, not only is this not “one handed opening” as they claim, it’s almost impossible to open. I have to place my one year old over the gate and WRESTLE with the clip with both hands. You have to somehow hold the button in while pulling outward and not pinch your fingers. FYI, I’ve pinched my fingers at least 8 times in the 5 days this has been installed and it hurts.Fourth, it’s impossible to CLOSE the gate. There is no way to know if the gate is properly closed and my 1 year old has just waltzed through it on multiple occasions. Other regalo gates have a pop up piece you can see if it’s not in place, not this piece of garbage. This gate has to be lined up and you have to force/ slide the bar back into place. YOU MUST MAKE SURE THE BUTTON POPS BACK UP. If the button isn’t popped up, the gate will swing back open, freeing your child into whatever danger you’re trying to block them from.The single thing I like about this gate is you can flip a piece up or down to change if the gate swings one way or both ways. There’s nothing else to like. If this thing wasn’t horribly bolted to my poor, crumbling wall, it’d be on its way back to where ever it came from.

Good gate other than the brackets are cheap and when you screw them in they went right through the plastic and was poorly made and cheap
