Measurements said 22.5 cm so I was hoping it would fit my old 1990's GE range burner which is also 22.5 cm but it didn't. It was just a little too small. So, hubby cut the weld open with a dremel cutting wheel which allowed it to expand a little and now it fits perfectly. The height on it is good. It keeps my 16" round bottom wok really close to the flame without letting it rest on the burner cap. It seems sturdy but I haven't used it yet. Will change review if it doesn't hold up. Good price if you're able to modify it if you need to.Update 8/8/20: works great, no issues after modification.

While this is not cast iron, it is a solid metal alloy of some kind. It is very large and lightweight and works for my use case which is an outdoor rocket stove, however it would've been better if they painted it black and the center hole is too wide, much wider than a normal grate for any stove, therefore if you are looking to use small pot, kettle or a stainless steel/metal mug with a diameter that is less than 5 inches, this will not work for you.

Exactly what we needed instead of buying a new stove.
