a necessity
I see a lot of negative reviews so I wanted to share my own experience.I've tried a few different things to improve airflow while I sleep, including nasal strips and another brand of nasal dilator. This brand took a little getting used to but is my favorite by far. My partner tells me that I snore much less and sleep much better with a nasal dilator in than without.I started out with nasal strips but those didn't make any difference. The other brand of nasal dilator was a little more comfortable, but used a plastic that would wear out quickly. AIRMAX nasal dilators are made of a silicon-like material that seems to last a lot longer. There is some friction, so these were uncomfortable to wear at first and I would alternate brands to give my nostrils a break. Now I just buy these.I would recommend to try for anyone with a snoring problem.

Not for me
Great when it's in, but it falls out every night. Not made for my style of sleeping

Product works for me
I assume that this is an update of the existing product. I am not crazy about the Hazard Orange color which sends a negative signal to the buyer, but it does work better than the original product which could vary in size each time I reordered. It does make my nostrils sore after repeated use, but maybe I have dry sinuses. I just apply a mild ointment like petroleum jelly on the areas that rest against my nostrils and it stays n place and doesn’t irritate.

Helps!
I have had multiple nose surgeries and still can't breathe do to the shaping of inside my nose. I tend to panic when I can't get air. Although these are not perfect they are a life saver to me. I don't like the fact that they are orange. Why can't they be clear? I do wear it in public often and have gotten over the embarrassment. They allow air thru my nostrils that I otherwise wouldn't have. When I misplace this I freak out so have ordered multiple. The orange is a good color to find when misplaced. They are soft and you can't feel that it's in. I don't mine at a different angle and don't push up all the way. You will have to see what works for you. They are soft and flexible. All you do is wash them in water each day. The price is good considering g the relief it gives.

Mixed review
These work at opening your nostrils and they don't leaves marks on your nose like strips; however, they are not very comfortable. Hurt the inside of the nose a little.

Works surprisingly well
I hate when I wake up with a dry mouth from breathing through my mouth. I often get a dry nose that is blocked and it is no fun to breath through your nose with a whistling sound and one nostril is often completely blocked. Sometimes I would get up and apply adhesive nose strips, but that takes a lot of fumbling in the middle of the night. So now I just keep one of these dilators on my night stand and pop it in if I need it when I wake. It does not open my nostrils quite as wide as the adhesive nose strips, but it is way more convenient. You can feel it, but it is not much pressure and I go back to sleep quickly. I cannot say it will work for everybody, but for the cost it is worth a try. I have a slightly larger nose than most people and a medium size worked fine for me. It is not gross. It comes out clean. I do rinse it off in the morning.

They don’t stay in.
They felt comfortable enough when in place. I am a side/stomach sleeper. When I woke up for a rest room visit 3 hrs later they were out and in the bed. I ended them and put them back in but within 20 minutes the came out again. Time to return.

works surprisingly well
After having used "breath right" type of strips on the nose for better breathing through the right nose hole (which has a asymmetrical nasal cavity which causes lack of airflow when sleeping facing left)...it was time for another solution. The strips caused skin irritation over time. Even though there were only few reviews of this Dilators product, it was affordable and worth a try. Surprisingly it works really well. Initially it's a bit strange to put this in the (upper section of the) nose tip, but after a minute the feeling fades away and the airflow is perfectly fine and my issue is resolved. I am not aware of anything in the nose while sleeping and the airflow is perfect like i have through the other nose hole. Affordable and effective solution, thank you!
