Need to go to Adobe website to download
Bought this from Amazon - had email saying download was available in Games and Software Library - no download button. Contacted Amazon who said order was still being verified as this was the first time I had ordered a download, could take up to 4 hours. Looked again the next day, still no download button. Contacted Amazon again, who had no idea what was the problem, had never seen this before. Suggested I contact Adobe, gave me a contact number which turned out to be a recorded message saying leave a message, which I did asking someone to call me - never got a call back. Went to the Adobe website, found another contact number for customer service, call that, got through to someone who spoke very quietly who I could hardly hear with a very strong accent. Explained the problem, gave them the serial number I received from Amazon which turned out to be not a serial number but a redemption code, which I had to repeat three times to only be told it was wrong and that I needed to go back to Amazon. When I asked for a reference number for the call was told there wasn't one at which point I just put the phone down as I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere. Searched the Adobe website and found where I could enter the redemption code, received an email from Adobe with a download button and successfully downloaded the program! So the upshot is: buy the subscription from Amazon, obtain the "Serial Number" from My Games and Software Library, then go to the Adobe website to register the purchase and wait for the email from Adobe to download the software.

useless
Downloaded and then tried to open. Next screen said I should be in the UK. I am. No opportunity to insert the redeem code. Therefore complete waste of money.

Was fine to download and install
I had a similar issue to those who have written poor reviews regarding the redemption code and being redirected to the UK version of the site. I looked up on Google how to get around this. Please follow the following steps for successful redemption of code and installation of software.***Please note instructions may vary towards the end e.g. open Adobe vs Download if you already have it installed***1. Go to redeem.adobe.com2. Sign in with your Adobe ID or create an account3. Enter the redemption code4. Click Redeem code5. Click Get Started6. Select Download7. Open the downloaded file and follow the instructions to install8. Sign in with your Adobe ID if promptedHope this helps :)

Impossible to download and redeem
Despite spending 2hrs on the chat line to the Amazon help I was unable to download the software or redeem a code to licence the software. The system is just too complex when you buy Adobe via Amazon. I managed to get a refund from Amazon.

Don’t waste your money
Was hoping for something a little more fluid for this price. Adobe have their heads in the cloud think this version of their PDF editor which is very limited and cloud based and slow even on a 100mb plus connectionThere are far better standalone device based applications with cloud integration for half the priceHave considered this wasted money and bought a competitors product elsewhere for a third less and much better results

Acrobat ProDC is a very good tool provided it is up to date
If anyone already has a Acrobat Pro DC version on their Mac as I had then installation is not too easy because it will require the previous version to be uninstalled which in my case became a problem. Adobe Acrobat team needed to help and did it very well.

A good program made useless by a problematic activation system
I use Acrobat Pro DC daily at work, and whilst it edits PDFs and exports them to Word well, and the OCR is great for scanned documents, it feels like a bundle of individual tools rather than a cohesive program. My main issue with it is the activation system though. Every so often (more than once a month) it'll have a meltdown, and Acrobat will just stop working in the middle of a task citing activation issues. It then refuses to work for anywhere between ten minutes and a couple of hours, stating it's unable to contact the activation servers - despite the system being connected to the internet and accessing other sites just fine. Error 102 is usually the message I get before it randomly stops working and quits. It's sufficiently flaky that I've had to install a second PDF viewer just so I can do work whilst it's having an activation tantrum.Given the money Adobe charge for it, I feel it should be a lot better than it is, and I certainly shouldn't be forceably ejected from the application every so often due to what look to be issues with Adobe's own servers.

easier to download from a disc than trying to do this
I'm having problems downloading the software, I would much prefer to have a disc in my hand to download it
