But it remains pricey for a fuel tank vent. It does work though. Saw runs rough and stalls without it. Make sure you place the top of this vent in the slot provided. That's how I lost mine.

It works, needed slight modification...
So, installed on early 2000s Stihl Farm Boss. Plastic was harder than i imagined, and had to remove 1 of the vent screws as 2 were to much and didnt allow my saw to vent properly. After removal , the saw starts hot easily! so all in all its ok, i would have bought OEM but took to long to get...

Did the same thing with a piece of tube and a screw
Did the same thing with a piece of tubing and a bolt but this works better.
