A fantastic book, full of amazing art work , for art , and cat fans. A wonderful beautiful book.

I found this at National Gallery. The price from here was cheaper than buying at the museum. Nice and cute cats. I bought two for my sister and friend who love cats.

Painted by the late artist, Susan Herbert (well-known for her paintings of cultural, classical cats), all the illustrations are so perfect, full of characterful felines who seem like they were born to play Vermeer's Girl with the Pearl Earring or Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr in From Here to Eternity.This book is fantastic for all cat-lovers, but would be doubly appreciated by someone with a little knowledge of classical art and cinema. It's a glossy, lavish book that will provide hours of enjoyment for the cat- or art-lover in your life.Buy it as a gift, or as a treat for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely coffee table book or a nice present

You probably need to be a cat lover to appreciate this (I am). If you are then you will find plenty to amuse you in the work of Susan Herbert. She takes famous works of art and 're-imagines' them with cats substituted for the people. Even if you are not an 'art buff' you will recognise many, if not all, of the images here. The painting is very well executed.I believe that the artist may now be deceased, so there won't be any more. Get this while you can.

Amazing collection of Cats Meet the Arts. Very funny & well-portrayed. Sue Herbert’s catty interpretations of the famous atrists’ Masterpieces are excellent. Very witty & uplifting. Ideal present for all cat lovers.

A fine collection of improved versions of well known paintings.

I just love it.What a talented artist.Every cat has a different look.It is well worth buying and I am sure whether you love cats or not you will love the illustrations,also very picture is titled so you know the original artists.
