Well worth the price
These headphones are well worth their cost. These are admittedly the only pair of open ear headphones that I currently own (though I own many pairs of different types and brands), but I am also aware of the price of most big name brands of open ear headphones on the market and these are significantly cheaper than most of what you'll find out there. Now that being the case I don't think you should be expecting the sound quality to be equal to that of say a $300 pair, but for the price they hold their own. The sound quality is not amazing, but it's pretty good and the bass is decent (better than I expected). Also, though I presume this is the case more or less for all open ear headphones, I find the way they sit on your ear to be very comfortable. They don't lead to discomfort with prolonged use in the same way that earbuds do or even over the ear studio headphones. I have yet to find myself aching to take a break from them. Though to be fair I haven't worn them for more than 4 hours in a single sitting yet. I think the other qualities of the headphones is where they really hold their weight. I haven't been able to test the 10 hour battery life yet, but I have yet to have the headphones die on me with many uses of 1-5ish hours at a time and I have yet to charge the case since purchasing. The battery of the case itself is impressive. It automatically charges the headphones when they are placed inside and they fit quite nicely into their individual spots with a magnetic hold that keeps them firm in place so they don't move around. The case itself doesn't scream high quality, but it also doesn't feel low quality. The headphones have touch functions that are fairly standard, but I find the sensitivity of the touch functions to be in the Goldilocks zone. On many headphones the touch can be way too sensitive and doing something as simple as adjusting the headphone can trigger a function like skipping a song which can be quite frustrating. At the same time if a touch isn't sensitive enough it can be almost as equally frustrating so I appreciate the balance with these. In terms of connectivity, the description I think undersells the headphones' capability. It claims a range of 10m, but I put them to the test and they can definitely exceed 10 meters and handle barriers such as walls and floors (and even a combination of both) without issue. They connect to my phone automatically (after the initial set up) when I take them out of the case and without much delay which gives them a nice ease of use. And finally, they do a pretty good job with phone calls as well. The mics have pretty good sound quality and pick up your voice well and the noise cancelling does a pretty good job of filtering out background noises when you're talking. Overall, if you're looking for a pair of over the ear headphones, but don't want to break the bank, I think these are an excellent choice. They're a solid bang for your buck.

Great open ear headphones for moderate activity
Let me start off by saying if you want to block out the world and any sounds that aren’t your music, these might not be the headphones for you. That aside if you’re looking for a long lasting charge, great sounding and affordable open ear headphones this is for you. What is an open ear headphone, you ask? An open ear headphone allows you to listen to your music while also remaining aware of the sounds in the environment around you. Headphones like these fit around your ear and do not go directly into your ear canal. I personally have been a recent convert to open ear styles just for safety awareness and ease of cleaning the individual earphones. The Truefree O1’s have a lot of great features that make it my standby for desk work, exercise and dance. The battery life is phenomenal. With a 10 hour playtime and 45 hours total with a fully charged case, you won’t be reaching for the charge cable everyday. These came fully charged for me and I’ve used them for 3 days and the case still has about 50% charge left. They are surprisingly light and fit comfortably around the ear. I have smaller rounder ears so the fit may vary. The cuff portion that hugs the upper part of the ear is bendy and can probably accommodate different sizes without an irritation. I expected these to feel heavy on my ear considering their size but was pleasantly surprised at how light they were and how I even forgot they were on my ear. The dual mic active noise cancelling feature allows more uninterrupted sound. This feature surprised me the most in that it helps block out louder sounds. Again, you will still hear sounds but it’s dampened enough that it won’t affect the listening experience. It’s a great feature that I think helps people from listening to their music too loud. The sound is clear and immersive. I am not a audio expert but have a trained ear due to being a musician. These headphones are balanced well and the distinctions between the highs, mid and low are obvious without being static. The low end (bass) might seem a little soft due to the open ear style but it’s not a deal breaker. I love to dance in these headphones because they feel secure enough that they won’t fly off and that the open ear style is close to how I would hear music pouring out of speakers in a club/venue type setting. Body weight and weighted workouts work well with these headphones. I’m not a runner but my guess is that the noise cancelling feature will help block the sounds of wind. All this in mind, I would like to point out the price point. These headphones are at a competitive mid range price point that make them reasonable investment. If you want to try out an open ear style, for the price alone this is worth trying something new.

Pros✅ Comfortable & Lightweight– The open-ear design and soft ear hooks make them easy to wear for extended periods, ideal for workouts. - Clear Sound Quality – Features16.2mm enhanced bass drivers, providing a solid audio performance, though not as powerful as premium brands. - Stable Bluetooth 5.3 Connection – Ensures fast pairing and a low-latency experience, suitable for streaming and gaming. - Long Battery Life – Up to10 hours per charge, with a total of 54 hours, when using the charging case. - Transparency Mode – Allows users to stay aware of their surroundings, great for outdoor Cons❌ -Limited Noise Isolation- The open-ear design means background noise can interfere, making them, less ideal for noisy environments. - Mic Performance – Some users note that the microphone sounds hollow, affecting call quality. Sound Leakage– Since they don’t seal around your ears, audio may be heard by people nearby at higher volumes. Touch Controls Can Be Sensitive – Accidental touches might cause unwanted pauses or skips.

I have a pair of bone conduction headphones to use for outdoor activities and found that although they allowed me to be more aware of things happening around me they gave me headaches with prolonged use. Decided to give these Truefree open ear headphones a try and came way surprised by how well they work. Since they don't vibrate against my head I no longer have headaches when wearing them for hours at a time. Pairing was easy, just make sure you remove the plastic covering the connector on the headphones first, plug them back into the case, and then press the button on the case to start the pairing process. I had no issues pairing them to my Apple iPad mini and my iPhone SE. Only caveat is you need to disconnect the headphones from one device and then connect with the other...it doesn't switch as seamlessly as Airpods but that's to be expected I guess. Sound quality is decent...mids/highs are good, lows are adequate but not booming. Because they are open ear don't expect much noise cancelling. The capacitive buttons on each side work well after you learn how to use them and get used to it. The case is quite large but it holds the headphones firmly in place. I've used the headphones for 3 days now for 2-3 hours per day and I'm still on the original charge from out of the box so the battery life seems good. Overall i would recommend these headphones if you need to be aware of your surroundings outside or home. Build quality is excellent, they're comfortable, battery life is good, and the price is really good.

These were for husband and he's been using them for running almost daily and seems to be still working fine after many months.

The first pair I received stopped working about 4 weeks after purchasing. But I contacted support and they were incredibly responsive and helpful and remedied the situation immediately. I have now been using my replacement set for months. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The quality is probably even better than the value for money.
