Listen, I realize this is a ten dollar item. Also, without a watch case, it works perfectly. The watch case-screen-protector plastic 2 dollar item on you $350 smartwatch, well, gets in the way. It will frustrate you, as it did me and many others apparently. Then I realized this, I removed the snap on, and voila. It works like a dream. Strong magnets too! Also just as important is how short the cheap included usb-c cable is. That might frustrate you, it did me. After swapp8ng out the included for a 8ft., life was good again. You need the length because it's base is not heavy and can move around. Im certain it can be temporarily stayed on your night table (blu tak). However, there is a benefit that it can be moved around, but no way with a tiny 1.5ft cable. So, for about ten bucks, you get a strong magnet, easy and fast charging, dependent on your plug in charger type, 5-15 watts is fine. It's a little Ittybitty battery so don't fry it. You really cant do that today becausr it adjusts on both ends. Buy it! You'll be more than satisfied if you adjust the design to create real value for your money. One and done.

When I first got this charger it seemed to work fine but after a couple of weeks I started having my pixel watch 2 die in the middle of the day. After investigating I found out that the magnet in the charger is not strong enough to hold the watch in place if the table or charger is slightly bumped it will fall off the charging pins. It still looks like it is in place because it only falls down a couple of mm but it is actually off the pins and not charging. I had thrown the box a way after the first two weeks so I can no longer return it. I would recommend that you look elsewhere for a charging stand.

UPDATE: Previous 2-star review below. I was contacted by the seller and they offered to send a replacement. I received the replacement and it works great. One thing about the replacement, is there is a different orientatin to the magnet (i.e., the first one I received was button up on the watch and the replacement is button down). Not sure if that was the issue or it was just poor manufacturing. Either way, glad to have a working one now. It's great because I can use any random USB-C cord. Updated to 4 stars.Great idea, but the execution is poor. You need to continually wiggle your watch to get it into the exact perfect place to get it to charge. Also, you need to make sure the charging screen stays on for 5+ seconds. Sometimes it'll start charging and then stop working and go to the home screen.

It works but it's very tedious to get the watch to fit on it right, and it will keep disconnecting randomly at times.

Update: The seller contacted me after seeing my review. I was sent an updated build of this charger which seems to have a stronger magnet and the watch charges with the crown facing down. So far, the updated charger works really well. I'd now recommend this updated charger.I really wanted this charger to work for my Pixel Watch 2, as I loved the design of the charger - particularly how it reminded me of my previous desktop watch charger. However, this charger has a hardware flaw where the watch either doesn't stay aligned or the watch slides down from the pin charger, causing the watch to not reliably charge. As other reviewers have mentioned, this could probably be fixed with a stronger magnet allowing for a more secure connection with the pins.

Does it 'work' Yes... BUT...with a screen cover on the watch, it doesn't fit on the cradle at all. Even with the screen cover off, you have to very consciously place the watch on the magnets, AND THEN double-check on the phone app to ensure that the watch is charging, before walking away. Something as simple as this seems like it could have had a little more design (maybe a millimeter higher on the height, the tiniest bit more strength on the magnets, and it would easily be 5 stars. As it is, i have little trust even in using it, especially if i have to fiddle with it every time i want to just drop my watch off to charge it some. Or trust it, and risk picking up a watch when i really need it charged, only to find out it hasn't charged at all.

I bought this charger to charge my pixel watch 2, as I've had issues with multiple factory puck chargers from google that fail after several months of use. Like other users, I found this charger to initially work, but it is very temperamental, and needed constant adjustment on the charger for the watch to charge. Being frustrated, I almost threw this charger away, but figured maybe a different wall charger was needed.
