These cards are good quality laminated card that are attached together on a plastic ring. The rules are simple enough and it's a mix of guess the animal and top trumps.There is a risk of the kids learning all the facts off by heart and making the game too easy to win, but I guess that just means the game is working and teaching them facts about animals!

Unlike (some) other reviewers, I don't simply copy & paste information from the advert. (I'm sure you really don't need (or want) to read all the description yet again!) I want to try and give you my own personal views of it (good or bad) so you can decide for yourself whether to buy the item or not. (The fact that I've received this product free of charge through Amazon Vine has no influence at all. I always "tell it as it is!")I have two children (4 and 5) and they both love playing this game! It's a great/fun way of getting children to learn things about various subjects, without making it seem like they are at school being forced to learn stuff. The idea that they learn while playing a game is better for everyone.Unfortunately with this type of 'game' I think it has limited uses. Unlike traditional games like Monopoly, chess, connect 4, traditional card games etc etc, once all (or most) facts have been learnt, that's it. There's no point playing it!At the current price of £13.99p (with free delivery), I believe this product is not exactly great value for the money (mainly due to it's limited use). I think in the region of £7 to £8 would be far more reasonable. However, (if you're happy paying this price), I *do* recommend it, as it does exactly what it's supposed to do!Note:I have not uploaded any photos as there are loads already on here, and mine would not be adding anything new!

Ordered the Skillmatics Card Game - Guess in 10 Splash which is currently £13.99 as a fun and educational game for the family, especially for my son who loves guessing games. We’ve had a few of the other Guess in 10 games, and this one seemed like a perfect addition, especially with the waterproof feature making it ideal for poolside or beach vacations.The game comes in a sturdy box with 50 waterproof game cards, 6 clue cards, and an easy-to-carry ring to keep everything together. The waterproofing is more for peace of mind, knowing the cards can handle a splash or two. The cards themselves are bright and colourful with engaging illustrations, which really helps keep the kids interested.Playing the game is straightforward and enjoyable. You split into teams or play one-on-one, asking up to 10 yes or no questions to guess the animal on the card. The first to collect 7 cards wins. One of my favourite features is the ring that holds all the cards together. It’s such a simple idea but makes a big difference in keeping everything organised and easy to pack away. The game’s portability is a big plus.Overall, this game is a great value for the price. It’s fun, educational, and durable enough to withstand outdoor play. This Skillmatics game arrived in a sturdy cardboard box, wrapped in cellophane.Inside the box are 50 animal cards held together on a plastic ring. Alongside are some clue cards and instruction cards.The cards are coated and waterproof making it ideal for the beach/garden/pool - the downside is that they do have a fairly unpleasant smell, which I'm sure will wear off in time.Essentially you have 10 yes/no questions to guess the animal on the card. You can ask for the odd clue and if you do well and answer bonus questions correctly you can get 4 buzzwords for your next go, making the guesswork far simpler.Each animal has a handful of facts about it and a bright illustration.It's a team game for 2 - 6 players aged 6+, though I don't think it would be too tricky to modify for other age groups.The sturdy, waterproof cards will take a lot of use/punishment giving the game some longevity, making the current price of £13.99 very reasonable indeed.Overall, it's a easy to play game that will provide hours of entertainment and a little education along the way too. That has to be a winning formula!

We love the original version of this game and I love the idea of these waterproof cards. Perfect for road trips and poolside play. The cards are easy to wipe clean.The game itself is one that we really enjoy. as you get to learn lots of facts about animals. I would say, as other reviewers have, that the game becomes easier the more you play it as you begin to learn the facts. However, it's a great way to learn the facts! We've had the game for a couple of years now and still enjoy it.Good value for money and a great gift for a kids birthday.

We have this game in the non-water proof version so when we saw this we had to grab it. The kids love playing this game, guessing their favorite animals and learning trivia about nature! We love that we can bring them to the beach and on vacation to play poolside, because the cards are washable and wipeable and we can relax and not worry about ruining them. Kids of different ages can play together but reading skills are necessary so we pair the little kids with a partner who can read when we play. Such a fun version of a favorite game!

Our littles love these cards. Looking forward to debuting this new set by the pool this summer.

Guess in 10 is a wonderful series that my son loves because it can be very challenging as opposed to some other easier cards, and packed with so much to learn. My kid is an animal, nature, and science lover and absorbs facts about them so quickly that some of the other cards we use, like the Professor Noggin ones we also love, can reach their limit a bit fast because once he learns the facts its too easy, but Guess in 10 is always challenging because it depends on the questions he asks and the possibilities are more varied. I sometimes adjust the clues to make them more general so that the card can be a bit harder. This set in particular is a bit simpler than some of the other sets in the series but thats more than made up for in that the cards are waterproof and are perfect for homeschool days outdoors, bringing to the museum and the zoo, the lake, wherever. My only wish is that they made more of these waterproof ones in different themes because I don't like to take the other cards out with me because we tend to damage them, which is what makes these so awesome!

I got this game to play with my nephew who is six years old and my niece who is nine years old.The cards are very sturdy and came very well package. The pictures and descriptions on the cards are very good quality. The instructions were easy to read, but in all honesty, we did not follow the instructions as my six-year old Nephew cannot read long sentences yet.The kids loved trying to guess the different animals. Some were harder, like vulture, but most were simple and easy enough for them to guess. They also learned a lot by asking questions to try to guess the animal. We went through the whole deck and there were only 3 they couldn’t guess and gave up on.We did not use in the pool, however we did use it outside where it was damp from spring rain. The cards held up well and again have a durable waterproof coating on them. I do not think they are fully waterproof for underwater play, but they certainly held up to splashing and small bits of water getting on them.Overall, I highly recommend this game. It is great, easy to learn, easy to take with you and very educational.

Great for one or two trips to the pool.Fun games for kids with a bit of educational value thrown in.Durability isn't the best, but for quick pool trips, they're great.
