This light has 3 settings that it pass through each time you power off and on; white light, a bluish light and and greenish light (might depend on your aquarium and gravel/reflective surfaces). We have 2 aquariums (so far) and love these lights. No matter what setting they're on, they look great and evenly distribute the light in the tank. They also create enough soft light in the room to luminate the area for low activity i.e. relaxing or getting ready for bed. It is easy to install and very bright I was surprised with the great quality.On a side note, our aquarium hobby has taken off and ia growing . This is the perfect size for our small aquarium, it helps with plant growth and it has three different light modes. Price is fair and reasonable, quality is good.
