I am surprised at how I have a quality this is. I had a Van Heusen brand umbrella just like this one that had broken from so much use over so many years and I was very disappointed because there's no more outlet store near me. I was looking for an umbrella that was closely matched to it and this one was almost an exact match. The material is nice and it does exactly what it's supposed to do and immediately reacts once you press the button and is easily retracted.

This is a powerful umbrella - be careful opening it around people. Make sure you point it up because it packs a powerful punch! It suprisingly is made very well. I took pictures of the ribs because it has its own spring. The shaft is smooth when closing. I think because each rib has a spring you need to use extra strength to close it. My 7 year old tried to close it but it was too hard for them to close it. The color blue is so pretty.

This umbrella is nice and portable. It worked well in the rain and stood up to normal gusts fine. The automatic open and close mechanism worked as expected.

These umbrellas are well made and easy to store. Comes with a storage sleeve that protects the umbrella when not un use. Fits perfectly in my cars door pocket so it's always there when I need it. I love the new style inside out umbrella that puts all the wet to the inside but they are no where near as compact as this umbrella. Great basic umbrella. Single color, no flash or splash of colors. One should be living in your car now. You'll be glad you did

...because it is automatic. Once you get spoiled by this umbrella, you will wonder why you ever fumbled with those manual ones. Great to have, easy to carry.

This is a sturdy, compact umbrella. It has a shorter stem than many other umbrellas when opened, but boasts a wide enough diameter in the fabric to make it useful. When folded, it is about 2.5 inches shorter than my other small umbrellas. The dual function for rain and sun is nice. I have a golf umbrella I use in the sunshine which is a shiny silver material, so I was expecting something similar. I was really pleased to find that the interior of this umbrella is black and the exterior is an attractive light mint color. There’s no shiny silver layer to be found! This umbrella balances small size and weight with sturdy components.
