Another ET read
The book gives a few interesting stories of personal encounters but nothing really new if you keep up with current reading and lectures. As a former teacher I was bothered by repetitive spelling and grammar problems (minor) but it just does something to the material when it’s not presented properly. Noticed politics got involved with a few swipes at Trump. Dear God please give us a break from this stuff. Also, noticed a biased presentation of man made climate change with a few items such as storm severity doom and gloom. As a Physics/Earth Science instructor I strongly advise anyone to be willing to hear both sides of an argument before passing judgement just because you have been told the majority feel a certain way. Also, if you go into this book thinking our government is not knowledgeable of an ET presence and not working with at least some of them and that humans are not being manipulated you better check your “myth-ometer”. Overall I would rate this no better than average.

A Very Real Phenomena
It's engaging, fascinating and frightening. Chosen is a compilation of experiences by people who have had an encounter with something they can't reconcile. For some people these stories will resonate. If I ever doubted my own experiences they were validated here in these stories so candidly shared. These are poignant accounts of real people who are hurting. These are folks that have been shunned by mainstream psychologists who discount their experiences as fantasy or confabulation. This is the story of the fortunate souls who were lucky to find empathy and understanding from a mental health professional. Yvonne's session's prove the therapeutic value of hypnotic regression and how lives can be restored. PTSD panic attacks are real. Unless you've had one it's impossible to comprehend the feeling like you're coming apart. These stories are raw and at times heartbreaking. Yvonne shares a particularly interesting patient referred to as "John" and his journey, encounter with blocked memories and road to hope and healing. John's story demonstrates the complexity of the injury suffered by those who've been chosen.

Great book, except for...
Haven't finished reading Yvonne Smith's "The Chosen" yet, but so far, I've enjoyed it and found the book to be very informative. However, one would think that as a professional, the author would've hired a top-notch proofreader. There are so many mistakes in the book...misspellings, wrong words and names used, date discrepancies, etc.; it's a bit irritating and lowers the quality of the reading experience. For example, instead of using the word "ufologist", she used "urologist", which is funny in a way, but completely meaningless to the story. Overall, though, this book is still a must read for those interested in the subject of ET encounters.

Glad I bought this book
A lot of ah-ha moments for me. Memories of events in ny childhood came flooding forward, and I gained insight in to possible explanations for them. Glad I bought this book. There are repeated stories at the end, but good info.

Very Enlightening
This was one of the most interesting books that I've ever read. It gives a true accounting of actual hypnotic recollections of people who have been abducted. The messages for humanity are important. I couldn't put this book down. It's a must read.

Extremely informative
I'm not really good at writing reviews. But I felt that this book was very informative, and I greatly enjoyed reading it and learning more about this subject. I would recommend it for anyone interested in the alien abduction phenomenon. Which in the end might have a benevolent motive, despite the fact that abductions can be very traumatic.

The Truth about abductions
The honesty from the author, solid research and examples. It's real and it's happened to millions of people worldwide. Our gov't has known since the 40's but greed has kept it secret

Excellent
An excellent and factual read about the experiences of those chosen to communicate with us on behalf of our extraterritorial space neighbours. The Experiencers' themselves have gone through some very traumatic and frightening realities and it is about time for human mind to take heed of their messages.Frustratingly, the grammar is absolutely awful! once you get used to it worth it.
