I haven't actually bought these mics but while doing my research I noticed that the negative reviews state "some of the mics don't work", "2 mics didn't work", "extremely disappointed". Be sure to read olusola's review below as it points out that 2 of the mics are condensers and require phantom power. I am pretty sure those who were disappointed may be naive when it comes to these types of microphones. They may have always wondered what the 48+ button on their recording setup is for.Aside from a comment about the mic cliips being a little long, many reviews commented positively on the audio quality. However, there was some debate on the bass mic. Compression and EQ seemed to be the answer to that debate.I personally started with an old set of CAD 5 PACK and recently upgraded to a used Shure 6 pack (sans the condensers). If you can afford them I would get them as they take the sound quality of drums to a "professional" level (in my opinion).For $140 for 7 mics (2 condensers) + clips? If I was just starting and I had a small budget I would give these a shot.How much could you really ask for?

Excellent Warehouse deal! Saved me about 50 percent, mics were in Perfect condition. Anyone saying two of the mics “don’t work” must not realize they’re condenser mics and need phantom power. Best budget set available today hands down - comparable to the big S brand

Quality product so far with pretty good sound. Bass mic could be better, but I can pick up some of the slack with some EQ and effects.

All components work as described. Easy to tune. However I wish all the mics were condensers

I received these as a gift. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of the microphones. don't let the price fool you.The drum mounts aren't too easy to use they take a little tweaking here and there to get them to grab. but they do work. The mics sound clear and accurate, with no noise. over all, a good set of drum mics to get started.

This looked like a good value, so I picked up this drum mic set. Easy to setup, and the mics that did work sounded good, sadly two microphones did not work so I returned the set and upgraded to the 5 piece Shure mic set. If all worked as expected, I probably would be satisfied with this item, but as stated, I would not recommend.
