Polishing pads are great!
These sanding and polishing pads are great! I have used them for years, my first set finally wore out and these are a replacement.

One of the only options for a glassy polish on hard finishes
I don't even know why I should need to post a review here - if you don't know micro-mesh for fine sanding and polishing, you probably haven't been paying attention. If you're looking to sand down a big slab of wood, this isn't what you're looking for. But if you're looking for a flawless glassy finish on lathe-turned acrylics or CA-finished wood, you don't have too many other alternatives. For pure wood with the time & energy to devote, you've got other options, like a Yorkshire grit french polish. But for hard finishes there's no choice but either Micro-mesh or Novus. Or, in my case, a combination of both.

Good to use for guitar maintenance
These work great for guitar maintenance, which is why I bought them. I use them to polish the guitar frets and smooth the fret ends. They are easy to use and fit well in your hand. They last well, too, and you can get a t least three fret jobs out of each pad.

Shiny
I love these. I use them to work on 1911 pews and others. if you wanna reshape plastic components, you can bring back the shine so it looks factory. And on stainless steel, it’s great to remove scratches on frames and slides. I use a scotchbright pad first, then go over it with the micromesh . This keeps the brushed stainless look, but feels super smooth. And you can achieve a mirror polish if you want to. I have done that on some pieces
