What a fun theme and so much fun to play!
This is a wonderful game with a cool Japanese cultural travel appeal. Easy to learn and so much fun to play. Everyone I've taught this to either wants to play it again or buy it.

so much fun
Fun point salad game. Easy to learn (and to overthink - analysis paralysis). Highly ranked on BGG. My wife and I play this as a two-player. It played well with two, seemed balanced at that player count, and we enjoyed how close the game turned out despite us both taking different approaches to our point earning.

Love this game!
I play this solo and love it. The illustrations are beautiful. I take my time and read some of the info on all the Japanese places. The rules are clear and the solo game works well. I have lost and won equally. It does take quite a bit of space because you still need 2 playing boards for the solo game but on a dining table or medium large coffee table, you should be ok. Quality of materials is good. Printing some of the tokens could be a bit more centered but not an issue for playing.

Easy to learn and fun to play
I haven't quite figured out the winning strategy yet. Since there is a bit of luck in what you get. the game is always changing. It is fun to play though. And there are definitely strategic aspects you have to pay attention to. Have replayed many times.

Good for most, but may want to check out the Matsuri edition
I initially bought this retail version which is ok, as a gift but realized that the deluxe version was the one that I wanted.I recommend looking at the deluxe before buying if you are serious into the tabletop gaming hobby as I am. If you are just looking for a family game night game, and don’t have 100s of games this retail version. Will be fine. The deluxe version has wooden pieces and you can get playmats, and bowls for pieces.

Great family-weight game that's substantial enough for serious gamers
Great family-weight game that's substantial enough for serious gamers. The rules can be a bit confusing for some people at first, but they were fine after the first play.

Easy to learn
This game is easy to learn, plays fairly quickly and it has nice theme that fits the game.If you like take that in games this not a game for you, there is virtually no interaction between players. If you enjoy games that are more multi-player solitaire that require planning and figuring the combinations that will produce the highest score then this is your type of game.If you are a solo gamer then 100% you should try this game. The solo mode is excellent and the bot is easy to learn and run.
