Buy Forest Bathing: How Trees Can Help You Find Health and Happiness on desertcart.com ✓ FREE SHIPPING on qualified orders Review: Interesting Read - I really enjoyed this unique book by a Japanese physician. It opened my mind to a lot of information about the importance of trees and forests for health and mental well being. It was an interesting and easy read, something that anyone could find beneficial, but especially lovers of nature. It was especially interesting how the Japanese have incorporated forest bathing into their lives, even though most of the population lives in crowded cities. The description of the parks in Japan as well as beautiful photos was fascinating and something I did not know existed in Japan. The author makes a good case that many woes such as anxiety, depression, stress and even illnesses could be alleviated with regular contact amongst trees and nature. Too many of us are stuck inside with our focus on electronic devices such as computers, Loads and cell phones. There are lots of tips here on how to benefit from a walk in the woods. I recommend this book, perhaps it will change how you see the natural world, I hope to incorporate these lessons in my life. Review: Forest Bathing is Essential for health - This is an enjoyable read. It highlights the importance of time in nature. There is beautiful pictures as well.

Get this book
Honestly, it's a great book and one of the best reads that I've picked up in a while. It starts off a bit slow, but after the first few pages, the information is really intriguing. The author talks mostly about how nature can help reduce anxiety and explains that there are a lot of forest bathing centers set up now in Japan. Not only that, but he also mentions the importance of urban green spaces in cities and urban areas. The benefits of essential oils are addressed and how using them in the winter when we are less able to get out can benefit our mood and health; truly a lot of information in this book. If you are into nature definitely get this book.

Good book
I really enjoyed this book a lot of what it stated I knew without knowing. Being raised in an outdoor family I've always felt much of Doctor Li describes. I do see a gap In my grandchildren's appreciation for the outdoors. I hope as they get older I can help them gain the appreciation that I have.
