10000 BTU Air Conditioner Portable for Room up to 450 Sq. Ft.

The media could not be loaded. I just got to test this product on a hot day, and I was so excited to feel it blow cold air instantly when I set it up! The main room I am trying to keep cool is a couple hundred square feet, but it managed to cool that within just a few minutes. I would assume it can do a much larger space without any issue as well.As for the actual product it fits nicely in a very small window corner that I had available (it’s slight tall and thin, which makes it perfect for a corner or small space). It was easy to assemble. I am not super savvy at this sort of thing, and I was able to do the minimal assembly required within 5-10 minutes. It comes with a window panel, allowing you to open the window for it to pull in air, while also sealing the window to prevent more heat from entering. There is a remote that works great even from a bit of a distance.I primarily wanted this unit for the AC function, but the fan and dehumidifier are also quite nice, and I think I will use them frequently as well. It also looks much nicer than most on the market.As for noise, or lack thereof, this unit is even quieter than the small fan that has been in my room. Many AC or dehumidifier units are very noisy and hard to sleep next too. This one sounds like a soft fan, and is a substantial improvement to my old unit.I highly recommend it!

I got this to keep a bedroom cool in an older house. So far I'm impressed! It's a nice looking unit and gets very cold. Most units I've had like this only go down to 64 degrees, this goes to 61. This unit has a built-in collection for the condensation, which is a first for me. I thought it was weird at first, because the drain is at the bottom near the floor. But I have it raised up now so I can drain it into a pot right where it stays. So no spillage when removing the water! It has wheels too so you could roll it elsewhere to drain it (like off the edge of a step). I've yet to have it tell me it's full so I don't know how long it takes to fill up. It's a little loud at first, but quiets down as the room gets colder. The extra function of a dehumidifier is perfect for using in my basement too. Overall, I am very happy with it. The window exhaust is a little difficult to get in place, depending on your window setup. I ended up tracing the piece that does in the window on to a piece of wood that I could more securely mount the exhaust to. But the window I'm using faces crazy strong wind so it was necessary for me. Most people should be just fine. Looking forward to keeping cool this summer!

UPDATE: After a VERY kind and friendly exchange for the original unit that came with a damaged part, I got a new unit and it worked GREAT. I used it occasionally in a hot upstairs room, for no more than a couple hours at a time. But after 6 weeks, it made a loud humming sound, got really hot, and blew the circuit breaker. It hadn't been running at all, it happened just seconds after I turned it on. It sounded like it was drawing way too much power, the fan barely came on, and then it tripped the breaker. I think the fan motor burned out. The built-in breaker on the power cord never tripped, so that is another issue - there's no protection there. I unhooked the hot air exhaust tube and moved the unit to two different rooms to try it on different circuits. Same problem, so it's definitely fried, and a hazard. There was no reason for it to overheat - it was only ever lightly used, it's still new, the air filters are perfectly clean, and it barely had any water in it at all. I am initiating a warranty claim.I ordered the product because I liked its features and functions. When the air conditioner arrived, the panel was broken (probably from packing or shipping). Amazon asked me to send the whole unit back, not just the broken piece, so I did. Then I learned that I had to wait for more than a month to get the refund and then reorder the air conditioner afterwards. The customer service of the seller were very helpful and sympathetic, and they reached out to me and gave me the full refund immediately (probably before they receive the returned product). I am very happy with their excellent service, and I was able to order another air conditioner, and it arrived already. This time there's no broken piece, and it cools a small upstairs room in my house quickly. I love this air conditioner, and I am especially very happy with the customer service division of the seller.

I was looking for something quiet and space efficient for my small bed room. Honestly watching some of the videos on here I was a little worried it would be too loud, but I realized the phone camera exaggerates the noise a lot. As someone who loves to spend some nights playing video games with friends online and watching movies, the noise was a huge worry. Now having it for about a week, my gaming headset does not pick it up at all and my friends have no complaints about hearing an A/C unit through my microphone.Icing on the cake is the fact that the sleep mode is really a plus, I sleep 10x better with this thing kicking on every couple minutes at night. Growing up in my house with no A/C in California has been rough, this thing is a game changer, I actually enjoy being in my room now.Lastly, setting up the exhaust was super easy, aside from a little bit of ingenuity since my horizontal window is pretty tall, it took like 2 minutes. This thing blows ice cold, looks clean and fits nicely in my small room. 100% recommend

Excellent! Our bedroom is the warmest in the house. As a nightshift worker, trying to sleep during the day in the summer months is DIFFICULT. I like to sleep in a cool environment, 55*-65* F. This window unit does an excellent job in bringing our 16x16 ft room to a comfortable 62*F without a problem while the sun is beating down on it. 4 stars instead of 5 stars is given because the "low" setting for the AC and fan does not work despite troubleshooting. Fine for me, though. Colder the better! Some may consider this unit "loud", but I don't mind white-noise type backgrounds. The dehumidifier setting works fine, but this is clearly not the main purpose of the unit. Fair price for a great day's sleep. Would recommend.
