Firstly I must say delivery was really fast. I have purchased this for my teenage daughter for Christmas. I knew it would be small enough, it is a little smaller than I expected however don't let this turn you off as it is really lovely and very well presented in a gift box and it will look lovely displayed. It is made with care and of good quality and is suitable for both children and adults. Its a tiny bit pricey maybe, I can't decide, but it would make a nice impressive gift to someone for sure so that makes it worth the money then. Definitely recommend.

Gorgeous planet Crystal ball, high quality absolutely love the product it would have got 5 stars but within two weeks the LED lights stopped working such a shame my son loved that aspect of it.

I purchased this for my seven year old son as a special birthday present. Hopefully something he can treasure for many years.The crystal ball is lovely and very weighty. The solar system is beautiful and the stand it comes on provides a constantly changing light from beneath.It sits in his room and projects the solar system onto his ceiling and creates a lovely calming effect.Beautiful gift.Batteries insert into the base and you twist it to turn it on.Great gift and something that will hopefully last for many years.

A bit baffling on why the light wasn't as bright as the ad but after a few mins it lit up. Really good value and the crystal ball is heavy, the presentation box is fab.

When I opened this item, got the light switched on, I was hoping for something very beautiful, something that would be colourful, and glorious to look at, but no, this wasn't the case, its size is ok, if a bit smaller than I had anticipated, the colours of the lighting is very nice, but surely not enough light being projected, a massive disappointment, especially at this price. In the items photograph you can clearly see the Sun represented in the middle, this sun is light from top, you can clearly see this, but in reality it's nothing of the sort, unless your viewing in natural daylight ( which defeats the entire object in the first place ). I would fully recommend that you save your hard earned money, and purchase something else, I can't give this item more than one star. I would send this back, but after my mammoth trial and tribulations getting an item back to China without it costing the earth, stress, anxiety, and massive disappointment , I wont bother, life is far to short for the wasting.

Adult Christmas present for the bloke but just lovely to entertain supervised older children. Well made and an unUsual centre piece *****.

I bought this for my grandson for a Christmas present. The ball itself does not appear to fit snuggly onto the base, but perhaps that is what is meant to do ?

Fantastic galaxy crystal ball! Heavier than expected! All round 10/10 satisfaction! The ONLY thing I don’t like is the base it sits on. Unsure if they vary however the one I got was beautifully gift boxed with fitted slots for the ball and base. The base had no snug fit, so the ball just kinder rests inside a rounded cavity, an accidental knock of the table could be disaster!! Something to consider if purchased for a child.
