Useful upgrade for cryptominers
The 1-to-4 PCI-e riser card adapter is a specific product for people who are involved in crypto mining. The card splits one 1x PCI-e slot into four 16x PCI-e slots, allowing you to put 4 GPUs to share the 1x slot. Installation is simple and it works well right out of the box. The adapter comes without the necessary USB cables, so you're gonna have to buy them separately. The USB 3.0 slots ensure fast data transfer and stable connections, which is required for mining operations. The card itself feels durable and well made. The packaging is a small carton box, which protects the adapter well during transport. Overall - useful product to upgrade your mining operation :).

Very handy slot expander
Sometimes I have access to inexpensive boards that are good for building rigs, but the slot availability is limited. I was able to put this card into an old computer with only two slots and I hooked up four cards using the USB-style connectors to my risers. The card did not need any additional software or drivers, and the GPUs were detected without issue.

Little card, 500MB/s total, no low profile bracket
This chipset (Asmedia ASM1184e) can do Gen 2 speeds (500 Megabytes/sec total), as can all the downstream ports. It also supports power management.I used it with several different PCIe extenders. All of the 1x to 16X type ones worked fine. I had an older one 1x to 1x that used a weird USB A to Mini B superspeed cable, and it wouldn't work. I also tried a PCIe to PCI bridge board, but it didn't seem to cooperate with this expander. The card is small, but it only comes with high profile bracket.I'm not using it for big graphics cards, just assorted PCIe devices and testing. Seems to work ok.
