I assumed, mistakenly, that the 4" referred to the length of the cord portion. That portion is only 2.25" long. The entire thing is longer than 4" if you include both metal end, and shorter than 4" if you don't. So... it's very short. The 4" seems to refer to the metal tip of the micro portion up to the end of the white part of the USB portion. Does not include the USB metal tip portion. Seems to be sturdy, good quality, but just too short to be able to fit our needs.

Bought to use with a power bank that I carry in my purse so I love the short length. I tested all three when they came and they all worked. Have not had to use my power bank since, but I assume that the one in my purse would do the job it was purchased to do.

Bought for my guy so he can charge his Beats earbuds with his battery packs. He loves the short cable and especially the loop on it that allows him to connect it to his keychain since he seems to misplace everything.

one wire stretch plastic cable near universal end. second got phone "A" end bent/damaged, my fault. Third is still going strong. I feel they are a good value for price.

Perfect for charging my battery backup. I lost the original and these work

Just in case it helps others: The total length of the cable including ends is 4". The actual cable portion is only 2".
