Just got this and used it for the first time. Screwed on the propane bottle and it worked like a charm. Easy flame adjustment and easy one click start. Flame was very consistent and adjustable. A good value also.

I picked up the TURBOHEAT Heavy-Duty Propane Torch hoping for a reliable, easy-to-use tool for small projects and repairs. It does get the job done — the flame is strong, and once it’s going, it puts out plenty of heat for tasks like loosening bolts or light soldering. That said, it’s not without some issues. The ignition can be a bit finicky at times, and it takes a couple tries to get it lit. The build quality is decent, but it doesn’t feel as solid as some of the more well-known brands I’ve used in the past. It works fine for occasional use, but I’m not sure how well it will hold up long-term. Overall, it’s a middle-of-the-road torch — not bad, not amazing. Good for the price, but expect a few small frustrations along the way.
