The media could not be loaded. This outdoor ceiling fan is great for our patio. It has been used now for three weeks and has sustained rain and storms and it’s still intact. It comes with a remote and you can dim the lights from the remote. It has different settings. It has different speeds for the fan so we really like that and we love the farmhouse look that it adds on the porch. This is a great value for the money, and the brightest light is perfect for our outdoor space. It is very high-quality. The instructions are clear and easy to put together.

Looks good thus far. Installation was not too difficult. The features are pretty neat and the remote works well. It works, not the best fan I have ever had, but nonetheless I would recommend it!

It's very effective at keeping the area cool and even helps to keep bugs away. The light is bright and dimmable, offering multiple color options to set the right ambiance. The fan operates quietly, which is a significant plus for enjoying a peaceful evening on the patio.However, the aesthetic appeal leaves something to be desired. The fan is quite utilitarian in design, focusing more on functionality than looks. The light cover is plastic, and you can see some of the wiring through the globe, which isn't the most attractive feature. The blades and screws are visible, and the overall design is a bit plain compared to more stylish options.Despite these minor aesthetic issues, the fan's functionality outweighs its looks. It’s robust, reliable, and does an excellent job of circulating air and providing light. The fan also comes with a collapsible handle for easy attachment and a sleek design that, while not the most beautiful, is practical and durable.Overall, if you’re looking for a highly functional and convenient outdoor ceiling fan, the Ohniyou model is a solid choice. Hubby said it was extremely easy to install and hook up to our light switch/dimmer. It looks great out back and has done well in the Az monsoon wind and rain. I took 1 star off because the 1 we got the light is different. Instead of a cone shape it’s just round. I don’t mind because it’s for outside and the shape is the only difference. Probably a mistake on fulfilling order so just be aware.

We installed this (relatively easily) on our front porch to give us more time to sit there in the evenings and through the summer. The light looks great and the fan is strong and quiet. You can control it through an app, or by using the included remote. The blades are solid and look grey/brown woodgrain and look stately/impressive against the black body of the fan housing. It's a plastic light cover, but that's probably to ensure you can't break it and shatter it everywhere since it's larger. The light kit is replaceable and that's what I look for in a fan now that I have had some in the past with proprietary lights that once they dim/go bad, the fan has to be replaced. This seems solid, and hoping to get several good years out of this one.

Overall this fan/light is not bad. Probably worth the $170 cost, but feel there are better options for around that price. I am using outside in a coastal area so hopefully it will hold up.Pros... Very easy setup. Puts out a lot of air on high. Multiple options on light color. Came very well packaged. Remote controls all options including reverse. No wobble so far when running.Cons... Not a great looking fan. Non reversible blades. Cheap looking light cover and the light wiring shows slightly through the globe. Remote is cheap but works so far. Top canopy screws are very visible as are all blade screws.The blade mounting holes and screws (only 2 per blade) are very close to the edge of the blades so a little leery about the blades holding up. But they are a thick plastic material so time will tell. They also mount flat and the last 1.5" is angled down to create the air movement. Maybe that will keep them from drooping like most others do. Overall, I like it but not my favorite.Update: After 3 months the fan still works fine but is showing lots of surface rust on all metal. The last 2 pictures show this. I do live in a brackish coastal area. Also, every time there is a power outage and subsequent restore, the light comes on and stays on until I turn it off.
