Superman: House of Brainiac

Amazing
The best superman story in recent years. Sandoval draws are amazing, and the story has many cool moments, full of what makes Superman so great.

House of Brainiac
I liked this volume. It was action packed and exciting. However, it probably isn't going to be for everyone's taste. The second part with Perry White running for mayor has very clear parallels to the recent election and can be heavy handed. I do miss stories that focus exclusively on Clark/Superman but his family has been a huge driving force in recent arcs. Fortunately there are decades of stories to scratch that itch.

Very good
Very good. Brainiac is very underrated and underutilized. An awesome villain. As is almost all of Superman's rogues are.

A good graphic novel, very poorly made...
While I enjoy the artwork and story. They made a very poor book. The double page spreads are too close together. Look at my photo. Things are missing. Believe me I tried opening the book full force. This was the best I got.All they had to do was add a bit of space in the pages. I would rather see all the art and a small black or white line down the middle. Then be missing vital parts of the image. The only other way is if the artist accounted for this and made sure never to draw vital information in the middle. I don't agree with this. An artist shouldn't have to limit their creative output. Especially when some quality control formatting could fix it.It's very lazy on DC's part. This is $24.99. it's not cheap to buy but it sure is made cheaply. The paper is low quality matte with a newsprint feel. It's how most books have been made post covid. It is cheap but acceptable.I will probably return this. Sadly it's poorly made junk like this that is killing physical comic sales. Cheap, sloppy effort DC.
