The cable works fine. What else am I supposed to say? The fit was amazing, it fit into my device perfectly and allowed be to connect it to a different device that had a different size connector. If you plug on into the other, you can have a mini extension cable nearly 10 inches long.

I purchased these headphone cable adapters to use with a 20-foot-long camcorder remote control cable. These adapters allowed me to replace the original 2.5mm cable, which frequently broke and was expensive, with a much more stable 3.5mm headphone cable and these as adapters at both ends. My thought was when the adapter broke it would be much easier and cheaper to just switch out the side that broke and leave the main cable in place. They are on the shorter side but as for conversion jumpers they work fantastic and provide good signal quality for their price. They are well built in a trust that the jackets won't fail anytime soon.

I installed a new head unit in my Evora 400 and found that while the existing, currently installed microphone had a 3.5mm jack, the new head unit had a 2.5mm jack. This adapter solved the issue perfectly. The flexible cord connecting the two ends allowed bot limited room behind the head unit. And the sound quality is as good as it was with the factory microphone plugged directly into the back of the stereo!
