Excellent with children, but the sucker is underpowered
We bought this to allow our children to get ever more involved in cooking and yet keep them away from blades. We really like it and it works very well. The only downside is the vacuum sucker obviously the bottom is not as strong as it should be and often (not always but often) a hand gripping the machine is needed alongside the turning hand and the gently pressing hand. Other items have better grip (the cuttlebug for instance copes with much greater forces). Were this improved I'd give five stars.

Quick and Easy
Great Product. Easy to clean, Easy to use and no effort at all to grate cheese and veggies! Definitely recommend.Suction on the bottom keeps it sturdy when grating.

Watch the escaping green cap. You'll know.
Great product but cheap plastic.The small green cap that holds the suction clasp to the machine came away straight away. After finding it under the worktop and grinding my cauliflower the shreds I thought it was pretty good.That cap will go again .....certain.....I will be mad .....again, but it's a good cheap little bit of kit.

a good product
this product it great at grating cheese and easy to clean but i just throw in in dishwasher. only complaint is the cutting drum doesn't lock in place with the handle. i wanted a clean east way of grating cheese and this product didn't disappoint except as mentioned above. ive not grated anything else at this time so cant comment of other uses.

Great gadget.
Found it a bit tricky to get the suction working to start with, but once I had got the knack , it is just what I was after.

Suction base damages really easily and the product has FOOD SAFETY ISSUE!
The product is labelled dish washer safe. After the first wash the base suction unit was badly grooved but I overcame this by loading the scratches with butter!After 3 months wear however I believe there is HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE! The unit has been used almost exclusively to shred potatoes for rostis. I noticed that that there are heavy grooves on the "pushing" unit (see picture) that means plastic has been shredded in to my food!STEAR CLEAR!! I will never buy again and have consigned it to the bin.
