The media could not be loaded. The balls were bright and easily seen. The pack of four comes with an extra battery for each ball. Each battery lasted about two to three hours. They seem to have a little less bounce than a standard pickle ball but were still really fun to play with. Just hit it about 25 percent harder than you normally would.

Playing pickleball with family members and was getting dark and hard to see. Pulled out the LED lighted balls and continued playing, so much fun being able to see the balls in fading light. I was expecting a little brighter, but they're great. First one we used cracked after 10 to 15 games though. Not happy about that.

Provides enough light to play at night. Is good to start playing around dusk so your eyes can adjust more easily. Have a couple heavy hitters and ball held up great. Light did not flicker or go out. If someone happens to hit the ball on the screw head, it does make a distinct audible hollow sound. No one noticed a difference in game play because of the screw (12 of us). Each ball comes with two screws and "screwdriver". Out of 8, had one bad that did not light up at all. When unscrewing, screw cap may be the only thing that comes out so have a pair of tweezers handy to pull out led unit. It's comparable to Franklin outdoor balls as far as thickness and weight. Decent product for the price.

If you are a recreational player or looking to play with kids and aren’t expecting “tournament” level precision, these work great. Can’t tell you how long they last, as just used a few times so far. Make sure that when you screw the batteries (provided with a few spares) down into the ball, you screw until they are flush with the surface. Color is bright, difficult to track “depth” at least for me, but was definitely doable with a bit of play and they worked well. If you are expecting the experience to be just like playing in daylight, none of these glow products are for you. Overall highly recommend!

Balls are very bight. So far the second ball we tried, the night got stuck and wouldn't come out and we were unable to turn it off. So one ball was not usable.

These balls are excellent for extending play on an unlit court. Regular glow in the dark balls are ok--these are definitely superior. They seem a little heavier than a normal outdoor ball but they are balanced reasonably well and allow you to keep playing later into the night. I'm very happy and will purchase more when needed.
