I've used this shampoo & conditioner for about a month. A couple of things before sharing my experience. These are sample bars, not full products, SAMPLES! I really do not understand those that are so upset because the bars are the size of a quarter. I have hair past my shoulders and I have used one bar set 5 or 6 times and still have some more washes to go. I believe part of the problem is that these bars do not foam up and lather like regular shampoo and conditioner. A little goes a very long way. If you're hair starts to feel slick, like you have conditioner in then you're getting it in your hair. I hold it in my palm and rub the actually bar throughout my hair. The first time I used it, I had noticeable difference in my hair texture and volume and shine. I usually wash my hair everyday, I try to do every other day but it starts to feel like straw if I don't rewash. With the bars I went 3 days between wash and honestly could have gone a 4th day probably. My hair feels clean and so soft afterward. It doesn't make my hair feel heavy or bogged down but it also doesn't go flimsy and "fly away." Hope this helps! I just ordered the full bars for the rice one. I liked that best in the samples. Oh, probably should mention my hair has blonde highlights, terrible curls that try to wave up but are too damaged at this point... that said about once or twice a month I do a deep clean with my purple shampoo/conditioner.

I really love the Kitsch shampoo and conditioner bars. Leave my hair very clean and soft. These samples are very small, but they are good for travel. Also the company has great customer service.

This shampoo and conditioner kit consist of 2 square shampoos and 2 conditioners. Their smell is pleasant but mostly neutral. There isn’t much lather and I felt like I had to “work” the bar for a while. Did a decent job and my hair feels good afterwards. Still, I probably won’t buy this brand again

Initially, I liked how clean my hair felt. And I enjoyed the smells. The conditioning was okay at first. But after using them for a few weeks, but my hair became dry and frizy at the ends and started flaking at the scalp, which it has never done before! I'm going back to something that works better for me. UPDATE: Upgrading my stars to 3: when I reviewed the product of the sampler of shampoo and conditioner bars, I indicated it was very drying for my hair and scalp, however they responded to me with apologies and an offer of a full refund. I declined the refund because I know they spent money on making the product and I feel it might work for others. I'm not sure if the good customer service is from just the seller, or the maker of the product or if those are one and the same. But rest assured, if things stay the same, it is worth trying the product, who knows where the dryness came from? It could be hormonal or seasonal or something. I wouldn't hesitate to try the sampler because it is refundable.

I bought the sampler pack to prepare for an international trip. The product held up for a 3 week trip. My hair felt shiny and soft. I would definitely buy again. In fact, I did buy a larger size for at home!

I love Kitsch products so much that I bought this sampler kit for my whole family as stocking stuffers and gave to friends. I got the first for myself to see it they worked like shampoo and cut out sime plastics. I am in love with the Rice Protein shampoo and conditioner. It foams like regular shampoo, rinses well and my hair feels so much softer and even appears thicker. No soapy residue at all, not even on the shower glass. I can’t say enough good things about it, plus you feel better that you are cutting back on your carbon footprint. Definitely try it, works equally well or even better than the pricey salon brands I bought before.

These are too small pieces. It's difficult to hold them even while bathing! The price is too overhyped for the product. I've already tried two of your soaps, with little or no positive result.

Best shampoo bar I’ve used. Leaves my hair soft and shiny. Wish the samples were round though, it can be difficult to lather up a cube.
