LG 65-Inch Class OLED evo G4 Series Smart TV 4K Processor Flat Screen with Magic Remote AI-Powered with Alexa Built-in (OLED65G4SUB, 2024)

I usually wait a few months before I write reviews on electronics. No issues with this tv. It is in a room with a lot of light and the picture is fabulous. I could barely see the picture during the day on my last tv but not this one. I'm very pleased with my purchase. A little on the expensive side but worth it.

I am a display guy, I worked in a research lab perfecting the flat display we all have in our home today. This display is amazing. With its infinite contrast ratio the blacks are black as coal and the whites knock your eyes out. When I first powered on the display I saw line defects and said "OH No! this will have to be returned" but in 24 hours the circuitry detected the defects and corrected them. Amazing. OLED is the best and the LG does it better than anyone.

It has met all my expectations, as a gamer and avid movie watcher this tv is outstanding. Recommend a good sound bar to maximize the tvs sound potential. No complaints. Ease of operation and set up was refreshing and the tv puts out some beautiful pictures.

I had an LG OLED TV from about 7 years ago - terrific picture but from the "dark ages" compared to today's new model - the G4. Great picture quality. Smart features really work without a special college degree - although a bit of patience is helpful at the start. This TV is wonderful. Not cheap of course. But wonderful after you forget the price you paid.

Now that I’ve had this tv for 6 months, I can say I really like it! Lots of adjustable features visually, and very good connectivity with Bluetooth and other devices! I think it’s plenty bright, amazing for gaming and it’s hard to fault! The only thing I’d like to see is a slightly more intuitive interface?! An update came out recently that seemed to work on this a bit, and I noticed some livability improvements, which any owner would appreciate. I think as this matures it’s going to be posh! Lots of visual feature adjustments (cinema, personal settings etc) for power management and keeping the health of your oled display. Clean visuals, great saturation of colors! This thing is a ripper and worth every cent! I’m hearing the G5 is even brighter, but if it is, you will probably turn it down even more than you sometimes do with this G4! It’s not an issue! Although there are slight improvements to the G5? The G4 should make anyone happy!! All though not perfect, it’s pretty close! Don’t hesitate!

What a great TV. Operation between web apps is great and the picture is wonderful Great quality and easy to use.

Provides a large, bright, sharp image. It is also easy on the eyes. Closed captions are very easy to read. Now I hope that they will have the 56" version on Black Friday!

First off, I love TV and am extremely happy with the TV's overall setup and installation. It was easy to integrate with my new soundbar (LG), is slick, and works easily with an Atmos sound configuration. The built-in sound was surprisingly good even without the sound bar I had purchased because my experience with newer ultra-thin TVs has been that the sound quality was lacking, but not with this TV the integrated speakers are quite good. That being said, the one quirk I have is with the smart TV, specifically Chromecast, primarily from YouTube, but from other sources as well, I get extremely inconsistent discovery by devices where the LG TV will not show as available to Chromecast. There does not seem to be any pattern on when it will decide to be available to cast or not. I would note that the Roku attached to other TVs is always discoverable even on the same device at the same time the LG is acting up so it's not my mobile device but the TV itself. With YouTube you can work around this with the app integration when it occurs, but with other apps not as easy to do. This does seem to be a software bug, so I am hopeful that a future software update will resolve it.
