I was not convinced but once I put it on my kitty, she couldn’t lick! She has a horrible skin condition that is almost impossible to heal because she’s unable to take a steroid due to feline herpes. It itches, she licks, gets raw then it scabs…repeatedly. I bought this at the advice of the ER vet. Kitty can’t escape this! The only problem for me is the Velcro. She has longer hair that gets caught and matted. Could trim the hair prior though. Unfortunately because of the location of her wounds on her back legs, I had to discontinue until she’s completely healed. The holes for the back legs are exactly where her wounds are so the hem rubs right on them. Although I must say the material is very soft. But something to consider because many people use these for skin conditions. This IS a great product! Would love a long leg version!

My cat has chronic allergies and licks her stomach. She knows how to escape out of every onsie and cone that we put on her.This combo cone/onsie locks into place so she can’t pull either off. The cone is plush. My only complaint is I wish it was a little wider.The outfit itself is very cute and makes her look like a little pickle.

We bought this for our kitten for use after spay surgery. She weighs 5 lbs and the medium fits her perfectly. Easy to attach and remove the cone. She can easily wiggle out of the outfit without the cone attached, but with the cone attached, she’s snug as a bug and doesn’t try to mess with the outfit or with her incision site. It has given me peace of mind because I don’t have to worry about constantly having an eye on her. Definitely worth it and glad I made the purchase!!

It was in new-product packing but came with gross brown stains? I tried washing it twice and I don't know what it is so I rather not risk having it near her incisions after getting spay. Its recommend she doesn't wear one anyways since her stitchers are dissolvable.I'm sure it probably works decent but I rather be safe than sorry.

Great for post cat surgery

This was the best surgical suit for my cat after she was spayed. The flower cone is removable but also not restrictive for eating & drinking. And when she did dunk it into her water bowl, it dried very very quickly. My cat weighs 6 lbs and the size medium fit her great. It was easy to put her in and even though she wasn’t happy to wear it, she got around the house just fine.

This didn’t last a week. Overpriced for a very cheap product. The flower pillow was the only thing that kept up for weeks. Everything else is trash.
