The Owls are cute. Love that the head turns. We had mocking birds messing on our ledge every day what a mess. Since I put the owls out have had not problem. Liked them so much ordered another set for other area. It comes with clear plastic wind catcher first one I ordered it came in a plastic bag. But the second set I ordered I found the plastic piece inside the owl.

We recently built an addition on our home which unfortunately has given the squirrels easier access to get on our roof. I bought these in hopes of deterring the squirrels from the roof and also to stop house finches from nesting on our front porch. Overall, I am pleased with the results - low cost, no chemicals, works as intended. I do like the swivel head as that makes them appear more realistic and to move some. I have noticed considerable less action on our roof and front porch thanks to these owls. My only critique is that while they look realistic and have movement, the critters are smarter and after a couple days of sitting stationary I notice a squirrel or two make a go for my roof. So I have to make sure I move them to different positions every two to three days to help deter the critters.One added bonus is that this has also helped with my chipmunk population. I used to have many chipmunks running around on my back patio and I know notice less because of the owls.Overall, it is a good low cost, chemical free aid, it is definitely not a solution that will eliminate the critters, but a good buy to help control them.

We had a ton of hawks in the area, who kept catching the squirrels (huge backyard, tons of wildlife) in our backyard, eat them in our backyard, and leave their leftovers in our backyard.The birds did not care about these owls. However- the owls did scare off all the squirrels. So they went away. And since they’ve left, the hawks realize they don’t have an easy meal anymore. So they’ve left too. It’s been a couple of weeks.The owls head does not swivel at all really. You have to manually turn it, don’t expect for the head to turn of the wind blows. Fill it with sand and prop it on something.

The rabbit that I'm trying to get to go away sat right under one of the two of these that I put out on stakes, chomping away, the same afternoon after I put them out. (Yes, it claims to scare off rabbits.)The head that's supposed to bob in the wind doesn't because the internal spring that it's on is too stiff for that. And the vane that you're supposed to put on the back of the head only causes the head to turn into an odd, fixed position in a stiff breeze, rather than creating a kind of back in forth movement with small changes in the wind direction.A complete waste of money, at least for me.

I purchased two of these because a chicken hawk ate one of my neighbors baby chicks. Since I purchased them, we have not had a problem

I bout two Owls. I am not found of them. I think I have more birds then I had before purchase.

So far so good. I have not had a single incident of the squirrels digging into my planters to burry their nuts. The birds also left my flowers alone too.

I installed 2 of these owls in the area that I was having issues with heavy bird droppings 4 day’s ago and it completely took care of the problem!

I'm impressed with these owls on so many levels. Disclaimer, I'm not anti-bird, but some birds (without a nest) have been terrorizing our yard, so I tried these owls as a safe way of removing them... and they worked great, virtually right after placing them outside! The birds are still all around in the distance (I'm around a lot of trees), but they are no longer dive-bombing in my yard.The owls themselves are great and a well thought out product. The eyes look very real, both owls are slightly different, the internal option to add water or a pole is great and the clear plastic add-on to the owls head (enabling it to turn in the wind) makes it so realistic and effective. Great purchase, great product and no birds were harmed.

They were a lot smaller than I expected and they did not work for scaring off ducks.
