Good quality, great tools, just what I had as a kid! You can push down hard while molding clay and plate doesn't stop spinning! I would recommend this pottery wheel! GREAT PRICE!

I understand that this is only a toy wheel. But when parents complain that it doesn't work, I hope they aren't expecting a professional model. Granted, it is messy, and sometimes hard to work, but it is a TOY and not for professional use. I still give this a 4 star simply because it is a TOY and with patience, a child can use it. My granddaughter had a hard time with it at first as did my grandson. But they did make bowls and they were very nice. Smooth and firm. Please don't come down on something that is not made for adults but children. Practice can do wonders. I stressed to my grandchildren that you have to practice to get something right. They practiced and had patience and did a wonderful job.

Packed very well. Certainly came at the right time. Quality is very good. Made well.

Clay came hard as a rock and it was difficult to get correct consistency for my 6 year old. But good for a little kid's pottery wheel.

My Niece loved this. Not of the greatest quality but not junk either. She had fun with it and still tries to make stuff with it

I have an older version 'Motorized Pottery Wheel' ' Easy Control Foot Pedal' with a white bling bowl on the box along with a brown bear, a green bling lizard, and a purple wolf? and with brand NEW batteries, it works like a charm!

My wife and I purchased this item for my daughter for Christmas. After setting it up, tried it (we all did)---not worth the money. Characteristics: noisy, cheaply made, one speed (fast), and clay cannot be dried in the oven. Don't be deceived by the picture on the box. Recommendation, don't buy.
