Just what I needed for an old lamp I was redoing. I did not notice the hint to seperate the wires and put one at a time through the tube if they do not fit , so I clipped the ends and wound the wires. Wish I had seen the hint first. Maybe make it more visible. Anyway I am happy with new usable light. Easy to use.

I used this to refurbish a 1930s desk lamp whose lamp socket was baked. Fit, finish and quality are pretty good, very close to the originals. My only complaint would be the supplied lamp cord. The conductors are thin and very flimsy. Feels like low quality.
