Excellent delivery time. This was ordered on Good Friday and was delivered the following Tuesday. The step was delivered with other items and came in its own sturdy cardboard box. It is strong and quite heavy, so may not be suitable for a frail person to manoeuvre. When I opened the package, the legs were folded into the base and the handle was also folded., allowing the item to be packed in the box. There is also a piece of paper with diagrams showing how to fold the handle and the legs. Underneath the base, the top of the handle, together with an l shaped screwdriver and two screws are cable tied into place to prevent loss of parts. Personally, I found the included screwdriver fiddly and used my own screwdriver to fix the Phillips screws securing the handle top. Once assembly was finished, I was disappointed to find that the height of the step was rather low and not help much with reaching higher shelves, which is what I bought it for. The item description does say the height of the step is 6.7 inches, which is correct, but now I have it, I feel it could do with being around 9 inches instead. The adjustable handle is very useful as an aid to boarding the step, especially if you are a bit wobbly on your feet, as I am. It is as described and very sturdy, so I must review it based on the description and not on my wishes. Therefore, I rate it five stars and recommend it if you are looking for a strong step with a useful handle that will get you an extra seven inches off the ground.

I like my step,just what I needed to help me get in the bath,at 74 I find it hard to get in my bath now as it is quite high.The instructions book is not very good the wording on how to put it to gether is very small,the screws where hard to get in because the screwdriver is rubbish,had to get proper screwdriver,so the screws would go in..luckily the step is sturdy now so is safe.That’s why I gave 4 stars.

Seems well made and sturdy. However handle height is too low for average size people. As others have said supplied screwdriver is useless for the screws supplied - need a standard phillips or similar crosshead screwdriver.

I read the review on this particularly about the problems with the screws… but I like the design so ordered anyway. Not sure if they have revamped it but there is a wick release metal flip thing that operates the handle to secure it or collapse it . The only screw I had to use were the ones that secured to black t handle to the white stem .., two little screws snd they were fine no probs at all and came with a little screwdriver which worked well.. overall am impressed with this as it slows my hubby to hop up into the car seat and he can then pull up the step easily fold it up and visa versa .. overall great item

Good product, light weight very practical with support handle. It gives the feeling of weakness but it is sturdy and safe. Could do something about the price though.

great safety steps. really pleased with it. the handle is spot on for height and is very strong to take your weight. the folding up is a great idea to store it out of the way.
