I use it on damp hair, focusing on the front and top part where the frizz is most noticeable. It's best to keep applying it until you see results. (The first time I used it, I used too little.) Pros: it's light and not sticky or oily. Smells good. Probably too pricey for me to justify buying it again. Will use for special occasions.A lady at a salon gave me an amazing blowout that gave me a whole different experience with my hair. It's wavy and I'm too lazy to try to do the curly-hair routine that people spend so much time and energy and product to achieve. I noticed the lady using a hair cream and also a spray before blow drying it with a round brush. So I've never tried the whole blow out with this product but it did give me the moisture I wanted for my thick hair and would probably be good for a blowout too.

As someone with thick, long hair, I had high hopes for Ouai’s Anti-Frizz Cream. The texture is rich and provides decent initial smoothing, but as the day goes on, it starts to feel heavy—almost like leftover conditioner that wasn’t fully rinsed out. My hair tends to get greasy faster with this, which defeats the purpose. The scent is also quite strong, lingering in a way that feels overpowering rather than refreshing. While it tames frizz at first, the weight and buildup make it hard to love for all-day wear.

I got the travel size to see if I liked it, plus this is an expensive brand. It smells great and it keeps frizz down as it says it will! For me, it can be easy to "over do" it with styling creams and then my hair feels product-y, but I think that is user error. Give this a try and please, avoid the area above your ears so you're not looking greasy.
