Years ago I gave a spinner like this to my Mom. She loved to sit and watch it both day and night. It was colorful during the day and sparkled at night. When she passed away I found this beautiful spinner the same one I had given her. Both day and night it’s a reminder how much I loved my Mom and the precious memories I have of her.

We ordered this because our friend's had it in their small backyard in Lake Worth, FL and it was beautiful. Spun all the time and lights were awesome. Our first had an issue; one side spun like heck, the other side not at all. Lights worked well after only a couple hours charging. We returned and got a second one. Still one side spun and other didn't. We moved it out further from our screened pool deck, second side spun a bit more but still not like first side. Maybe we just don't have enough wind in our backyard. Our 1.3 acres are fairly well protected with woods all around. The solar lights do a great job; this might just be the difference between Lake Worth, FL and Cocoa, FL. It is a beautiful and sturdy product.

There are 2 of these in our town. One on each end, and she has been wanting one since she first saw them. We couldn't figure out were they came from so I literally just went up to one of the homes to ask. Took 3 attempts but I finally got a response. Flash forward to this year, I was able to finally get her one. The smile was worth it. Can't wait to put it out.

The media could not be loaded.  *UPDATE 28 Apr 20*: **Lights on one of the spinners stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Thought they might come back on but didn't. Everything looks OK and recycled the on/off switch a number of times but still no luck. I have been careful to take the spinner inside when high winds are forecast, plus we had a very mild winter with virtually no snow. It looked so nice at night with both spinners lit up. Any ideas/suggestions/etc.?** Assembly was straightforward and they even included some extra nuts and screws (I like that). Works fine and spins easily. It is a bit too tall, pole has 3 sections, so I thought, well, I'll just eliminate the middle section of the pole. It will look better in the location where I want it and will stand up to the wind better. Only thing is, if you eliminate the middle section of the pole and just screw in the top section of the pole to the bottom section, the holes for the 2 locking screws do not align (unless you back off a turn but that would weaken the connection) so I had to use all 3 section and it looks too tall for the location where I have it.Wish there was an option to eliminate the middle section of the pole and still have the holes for the locking screws to align. That's my only beef with it. Even though the base is solid and even covered with rocks, it still wobbles a bit in the wind and haven't had any strong winds yet. If I had been able to install without the middle section of the pole it would be stronger and look better in my location. Would be 5 stars otherwise!

the product was not to my satisfaction, the center bearing was wobbly on one of the spinners, poor inspection by company before shipping. Too much hassle to return. So I just kept it. It was my wife's mothers day gift.

These solar spinners that are from Plow & Hearth are absolutely fabulous. They light up on both sides at nightfall and the spin function is great also. We've had lots of wind so we sit and watch them in the evenings..had bought two for front yard and liked them so much we got two more for back yard....had bought two smaller spinners (Non P&H) for back yard but they were not large enough so I repurposed them in another garden....can never have too many yard toys...
