The color of this is true to the pictures provided. It is a thick wool material with a silky lining. It is super warm and durable. The sizing is true to the measurements provided. I am in love with this coat.

With a couple of exceptions, I like almost everything about the RASUJIE DOUBLE BREASTED WOOL PEA COAT WITH BELT. This is a fairly typical pea coat. That means it's heavier to carry when you take it off, than other style coats, offering similar warmth. It's not as heavy as a traditional Navy pea coat, but it's definitely heavier than most modern winter coats, constructed from different fabrics.This is actually an ideal transition coat, good for Fall, Winter, and early Spring weather. This is the perfect coat for dressing up or dressing down. There's really no wrong way to wear this coat. It looks equally good with high heels or tennis shoes, blue jeans or dresses. It's right at home, no matter what you pair it with.I don’t particularly care for the way this coat bells out at the bottom, but that seems to be the current style. I am not sure why that is. Do any of us need to look like we have bigger hips? Maybe if you do have bigger hips, that style helps hide them? Anything that bells at the bottom, tends to look at little dressier. I prefer more streamlined cuts in my clothing. At least with this coat, the belling out is minimal.NOW, PAY ATTENTION TO THIS: I do not recommend ordering this coat in anything but a solid color. I got the blue plaid, and I absolutely love the color. But before you order this coat in one of the plaid colors, take a look at the picture of the model, showing her from the back! I noticed how badly and obviously mismatched the stripes on the plaid fabric was, going across her back, before I ordered this coat. I was really hoping it was a one-off. It’s not!The mismatching of the stripes is every bit as bad as it shows in the picture. Clearly, there was not even an attempt to match the fabric pattern between the coat panels. It is WAY OFF! It looks bad. If this is going to bother you, and you still want to order the coat, a solid color is the only sure way to eliminate the problem.If I had ordered this in a solid pattern, I would have given it 5 stars. In the badly mismatched plaid, it is only rates half that!

I am 5’3, 130 lbs, and ordered this jacket in size medium in case it ran small.I probably would have been fine with a size small although now there’s plenty room for dressing in layers.The jacket has more of a boxy fit and not at all tapered or with princess type seams. It pulls in some with the belt tied but still has a more relaxed fit.The material is soft, and the buttons are securely affixed.Larger chested and/or broad shoulders should also be able to comfortably wear this coat.While I won’t order this in other colors based on the fit, I will still find it of use for an occasional wear just to switch up my wardrobe. It doesn’t fit terrible, just not the fitted streamlined look I was hoping for.

Wife review - I wanted so much to love this coat! The material is soft, comfortable and looks great. The fit is off though. The width between sleeves on the back is off and doesn't fit comfortably. Everything else about this coat is perfect.

I absolutely love this coat! It's warm, stylish, and fits great! I was worried about the quality, but honestly, this is something you would get in a name brand department store. My only gripe is the length of the belt. I don't tie it, so the first time I wore this it was just dangling at my side, I thought a snake had somehow crawled up my leg. Easily fixable by removing, but it was really long.I purchased the black and white and I really do love the clean simplicity of the colors. You will not be disappointed by this purchase!
