My wife is medical and she found the endoscope of good quality. It wasn’t the most expensive that I found when researching what to get either but it did what we needed it to do well so going to have it as part of our go to armoury when the kids fall ill!

To start, the box is difficult to open. Once you can get to the scope it's quite a skill getting in the right position to see properly. However, when you do it does give good sight into the ear. The trick is not to go in too deep as the bright light seems to dazzle any view. I think with practice it would make a good tool but I would only both if you or your loved ones struggle with ear complaints. In which case it would be useful to help monitor things. If you don't have a reason to keep checking ears then I think it would just end up languishing in a drawer because of the practice it takes to use it.

This is a well-made otoscope instrument which uses fibre-optic technology to avoid having a mirror inside the head. This gives a clearer view of the inside of an ear canal. Even better, the use of an LED instead of a Xenon Halogen bulb means that there's almost no heat produced and the bulb has a much longer life of up to 20,00 hours. The 6000K colour temperature of the light gives a very clear image.The head uses standard twist-on tips (specula). Four sizes of tip diameter are supplied - two of each.The solid case gives good protection to the instrument but the catch was tricky to open at first. It needs pressing in quite hard to release it. Two AA alkaline batteries are needed for power (not supplied). There's a well-written Instruction Manual supplied (but only the Otoscope instructions are relevant to this product - ignore the ophthalmoscope details). The packaging and instruction sheet are CE marked.This is a well made otoscope, with well machined alloy parts, at a very reasonable price for the quality.

This product is very easy to assemble and to use. Comfortable to put in the ear and lightweight. However the image is not amazing, it is ok, I’m able to see but not perfectly. Modern design, nice colour. Durable and sturdy material.

Excellent quality ear scope.Great that you get lots of different attachments with this ear scope.It is very well made and has a very bright light so you can see really clearly.I think for the price the plastic case could have been better.But the price is a bit high but if the plastic case had been a lot better I would have been happier with this price but it is a good product.
